Is this also a traditional game there? Or was it invented for the video? I want to talk about how Radio Radio is including local Native cultures this way in their concept of Acadian identity. Is this an authentic representation of Mi'kmaq or other local Native cultures?

ICYMI the one-foot high kick is a sport played in Northern Canada by the Inuit. It doesn't seem to be a traditional sport of the M'igmaq nations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia where Radio Radio originate. Many Inuit children end up in Montreal, however, for medical service and secondary or post-secondary education. The regalia and facial markings of the youth in the video, however, don't seem to be Inuit or M"igmaq.
The two athletes in the film are Arctic champions from Kuujuaq in northern Quebec.

@rhxthm Well actually it's not really Acadian either. The real name is Chiac, some kind of mix between Acadian French and English. You can find a pretty accurate description of it on Wikipedia.
