Deepak explores the meaning of synchronicity in our lives. The word derives from the root "chronos," which means time. Thus "synchronicity" means "in time." It is associated to coincidence, which is characterized by inexplainable or improbable events. This is what Deepak calls a "conspiracy of improbability." Coincidences present opportunities all around us, as well as connection to the soul and core consciousness. Some tips to tap into synchronicity: See the world as an extension of yourself. See relationships as a mirror. Come from a place of detachment. Have clarity of your intentions. Don't get involved in details. If you experience coincidence, ask yourself what it means. There's more going on than we can ever realize. This was proven to me earlier this year.
agreed hang in there fam, because its going to keep getting better, i have lived a very hard life, but still continue to hang in there and keep going, i look for things that make me happy everyday.
A few years ago I was able to explore California and Oregon with friends for the first time. Whether or not you believe in synchronicity, there was one thing that really stood out to me during our trip. While we were driving down Pacific Coast Highway 101, I was disappointed when we pulled up to a lookout spot because the weather wasn’t great, it was cloudy and rainy, everything dull and gray. I wanted to take pictures but they weren’t turning out great. We got back into the car disappointingly and started driving, and my friends began singing "I can see clearly now, the rain has gone", that song by Jimmy Cliff. It was jokingly, laughing and making light of the situation in hopes that the weather would get better. Moments after they sang those lyrics, the song began playing on the radio. As it played, the clouds and rain dissipated into nothingness for the first time that day and the sun illuminated the vibrant blue sky. We pulled off to another lookout spot and I took some of my favorite photos from that trip shortly after, a huge smile on my face as we all laughed at the miraculous experience. I remember how excited I felt in this moment, like I was meant to experience it and that it was made for us. It was almost as if the universe was throwing us a bone or something along those lines. It was truly something that I will never forget.

What is being described here is "awareness" of synchronicity. In reality, every moment experienced is synchronised in time and everything happens together. Everything happens in perfect orchestrated timing. Thus ALL events experienced are connected and synchronous though often not observed as such. To put it another way, when an event is perceived as "synchronistic" (i.e. meaningfully coincidental, or, out of the ordinary) it is one's own elevated awareness in the moment that enables them to see the connection in time as it truly is. This is why those with heightened awareness see "everything and every moment as beautiful". In truth there are no boring moments.
Every single thing in all realities is ONE thing, there is no separation and nothing is ever out of context. The idea that a "coincidence" or synchronistic event is an anomaly is simply an illusion. "Believing is seeing" thus as one's awareness expands so does one's ability to perceive more events as being synchronous. Synchronicity cannot be turned on or off, because the "external reality" is always reflecting our thoughts back to us.
Synchronistic events are happening in every single moment - right, now, right now, right now. From the moment you wake up until the moment you fall asleep. Our beliefs are reflected directly back to us in the circumstances, opportunities and people experienced. This is also why a self examination of one's beliefs is such a powerful and life changing process.
Increased "awareness" allows us to perceive how everything truly is connected and synchronous. Everything is perceived according to your beliefs - this is an immutable law. Knowing this is when the "magic" happens because one can then play with reality. You stop taking offence and drop judgment in the mirror of reflection, because reality is only a projection. We are light projectors.
Positive Synchronicity - is when you "follow your excitement" in the Now which leads to positive experiences, things working out in a way that is fun & pleasing.
Negative Synchronicity - when you are allow false beliefs to bring in fears and worries, which leads to upsetting negative events - the very things you wished to avoid.

What you and the person in the video are talking about, sir, is the way mind lies to itself when self doubt (which is crucial for a true grasp of reality) is absent, this is very dangerous and can lead to fruitless thought or even ego mania if allowed to run wild

I've experienced synchronicity greatly throughout my life. My definition of it is that it's the cogs of the universe moving in a particular order and direction for you to get whatever it is you desire. I 100% believe it's real

When I was 13, a group of friends and I were hanging out in our neighborhood and saw a sign for a lost dog with a reward. So we made it our mission to get that reward searching all that night. The next day I road a couples miles away to a more isolated and industrial part of town to a summer job I had at a fruit stand in the middle of a parking lot. As I was working, the very same dog walked right up to me. I didn't chase him. I didn't call his name. He just came directly to me. I returned him and collected the reward. We've all had strange coincidences and this certainly wasn't the only one in my life, but definitely the one that makes me scratch my head the most.

@@FartCakes same here. Personally I feel the only reliable approach to determining reality is methodological naturalism. Otherwise you can end up believing anything if you rely on faith or intuition. I personally don't believe in gods, a divine plan, the supernatural or "the universe". But I have to say it's tempting sometimes to believe everything is some how connected. But the grounded skeptic in me tells me that coincidences like this are best explained by the law of averages and the fact that humans are, by nature, pattern seeking mammals.

I get random dreams of people whom I never got in my dream before and after I wake up it's a significant day for them like their birthday.
Something is there in the universe that we quite can't understand.

I have an innate ability with synchronicity, as I've been aware of it (even if back then I didn't know it had a name) since I was a kid. I believe it to be how the Universe communicates with our conscious and sub-conscious mind.

I seem to be having a really huge increase in these. Yesterday for example, I left my apartment and my neighbors were coming in at the same time, later on that day I arrived back home and they were leaving! Then today, I decided to go for a walk, and I get to the park and the lot was full, so I cancelled my walk at that park and decide to grab a coffee and go for a walk around the neighborhood. I start on my walk, stop for a coffee, then head out down the street. I soon realize that it was colder than I thought it was so I cancel my walk again and go back to my building. Who is standing in the foyer without their keys? The very same neighbors from yesterday! OMG we all just laughed out loud mas soon as we saw each other lolol!
A lot of the time I get thought synchronicities too, where I think of a word and it is the next one I hear. Also the numbers too, those are a constant now it would seem.
I am not a steady practioner of meditation but I have been clearing out the garbage out of my mind lately and I think that definitely has something to do with this increase.
I would have to say I notice about 10 a day now.
I really am having fun with them though :)

i removed my watch over 40 years ago; allowing for natural events to occur. I am a firm believer in synchronicity, it's a way of life.

I believe he stated this because it’s a lot different when you see synchronicities from anywhere else other than a watch or clock. I just to say to myself I’m not going to look at my clock all day so I don’t have to see a synchronicity. Then I’ll go the grocery store and my total would be $55 then my aunt would call me and say she spent $55 dollars in total at the thrift store, and I’ll glance at a paper on my desk that will have the number 55 on it. This just tells me that syncs will follow you even when you’re trying not to see them lol
Dr. Chopra, synchronicities have been happening to me all my life but I've started noticing them only in the past few years. AMAZING!. I feel that they are coming from our SOUL tho many sad things also happen in life:-) MeenaChandramouli.

My life and worldly events have been tied synchronistically time after time after time and time again. I didn't consciously seek these connections but there have been so many that I could not help but become aware of these connections. I came to realize that these synchronistic and serendipitous events were signs - signs that lead me to a more profound truth.

i was at a restaurant and we ordered a chimichanga. we also talked a bit about chimichangas and why this food would be called chinichanga. i looked up the word on google and also where it derived from. then we went to see a movie, (my big fat greek wedding 2) and crazy!!! in the movie these two kids are talking about the origin of words in the greek and one says "ok, chimichanga?" and he goes on to break down the word. i freaked out in the movie thetre. i never say chimichanga. the last time i even thought about it had beed months and all of a sudden in one day i not only see chimichanga 2 times, but also in both instances the word is being broken down. that is a hell of a coincidence. i believe it was Einstein who said "coincidence is God's way of keeping Himself anonymous". im guessing He loves chimichangas. or maybe Hes saying i should start a chimichanga business? 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Benjamin that's a funny coincidence. But that's all it is. Being so far fetched is why it's so funny. I don't think God is sending a sign through the definition of a popular Mexican dish.

I find it tricky setting personal boundaries in my life. No matter how another behaves, I think that my feeling of hurt or betrayal is my own problem, and if I don't see them as innocent and stay and love them, it is a lack of understanding on my part. I'm learning that I mustn't betray my own self, but find it hard to do so without making the other 'wrong'.

Carl Jung introduced this term. Synchronicity seems to connect ones awareness to deeper meaning in an effort to ‘read’ the cosmos. The concept is more important than most people are aware of.

today i was walking over a bridge in central London thinking about whether i was going to go to yoga this evening given i've been having a hard time with illness. a couple walk past me and i overhear the lady say loudly '...and Sarah's going to yoga...' as she walks past. it felt very strange. i had a strong feeling the message of this wasn't just about whether i would go to the yoga class

As a small child I would Remember the events of the following day and accept this as normal. The future memories lessened as I grew up but I still had them as a young adult. As a small child I also saw my adult life. I didn't like it as it was overwhelming to a toddler and I also knew my life would be eventful but very hard. All I saw has unfolded. I have reservations about the reality of time and how we perceive or even invent it.
Often I think of something on public transport. Passengers get on and continue a conversation of what I was thinking at the exact point of where my thought is.
Reality is the illusion fed to us by our subconscious to keep us working to live whilst it continues with with its own agenda. Anyone with an animal can observe them responding to stimuli we cannot sense. The illusion of this world would be broken if animals could speak to us. For some reason it's important we only are aware of the illusion.
Time is a mind construct.

Recently I have been preaching to whoever is unfortunate enough to be around me how I know the fact that animals communicate better amongst themselves with no spoken language than humans ever will with hundreds of languages. Have had so many things happen to me the last couple years & particularly this summer that sometimes all I can do is smile about it. I no longer believe in chance especially after a turkey appeared in the middle of a busy road in the suburbs as I was walking. It let me pick it up and move it from the road to safety and was very friendly. Then a grasshopper jumped on me as I was closing my back door, the other day a Hawk flew in front of my car and looking at me as if to get my attention.
You either just live amongst wilderness, or you're Evan Almighty...
It works for me .. trust and openness is the key and not only being able to see it but brave enough to act on it.. thank you once again
I've accepted synchronicity to be my conversation with the Universe. I have a inquiry and trust that the Universe will send me the info. as I need it. or sometimes the Universe sends me info. I need to know at that moment. I developed my own symbolism, relationship with Archetypes. Yeah, I have a direct line with the Universe "Yeah, Tinka so what do you think about this conversation?" She'll answer me soon :)
I had a shit load of experiences for about a month. It was like real magic. Day after day.

I have had this at a few times in my life but when it seems all is going to go as Intended all fell out from under me .. I understand that there must be something more to improve in my life to experience this in a successful true form so although I have experienced this is small doses I am thankful for those times .I will keep working to see this on a larger scale..Thanks for your illumination ..Always

Someone from my past from 22 years ago has coincidentally re-entered my life. Although we really liked each other were were so young and he messed up. He is now my son’s classroom teacher! It took me ages to figure out who he was, I didn’t recognise him in the playground before he became his teacher, I was reading the school newsletter one day and saw his full name and almost spat my tea out as I’d had this strange energy from him when he was talking to other parents near me and I couldn’t figure it out! How could I not have instantly recognised him!
Anyway, a lot has happened since we last saw each other at 15, I’m divorced, he’s married with children so I can’t think this is a romantic chance meeting but maybe a way of us resolving latent issues with attachment from childhood, every boy has left a scar and maybe he’s had to confront himself in seeing me again. Or him helping me as a way of apology. We are so conditioned with ideologies perhaps that’s what’s is meant by ego that we don’t see the inherent good in synchronicity to rid us of our past traumas.
I heard the name "Napoleon" in two different songs and my brother mentioning him while I haven't heard/thought of him in years.
I told him I know it's something but I'm not ready to see.
A few days later we moved to a house for the Coronavirus lockdown and so I took all my occult books with me to keep me bothered.
Someone suggested to start keeping a diary and so I did, and also read a book Crowley wrote on the matter.
First page I open randomly, my index finger on the word "Napoleon".
I rest my case.

One of my latest experiences with synchronicity happend some days ago, I was thinking about, that I would love to go to one of your courses, but I don thave the possibility right now. That day I received the e-mail with the Norwegian Hardangervidda Meditation and I live in Norway.
Just exploring this and now creating a God Winks diary going back as far as I can. Intriguing and enlightening.
