Cool looking Bane and I can imagine that there will be people out there that will add more paint apps to make him stand out more. I like that in this version he is more slim and I'm digging his WEB GEAR. I was defending McFarland the other day from some slap nut talking about will probably get a different version of static shock and he told me I was the problem because we just accepted it so I went off I thought I was going to take the high road but I didn't I still haven't heard back from him and I was like 2 days ago so I guess he got my point
My Bane is in the mail and should be here soon. I was so excited when Bane was revealed! I wanted a Bane with this look so I was going to try to make my own from a Marvel Legends Caliban baf. So happy I don't have to do that. I wonder if you could do the torso mod and maybe sand away some of the inside of the belt for a little more ab crunch? I want to paint the buckles and maybe the veins. He is big! I think I remember DC data file said he is 7' 6" if I remember correctly.
This bane is beautiful such a huge upgrade from the baf which I still like that figure , I’m waiting on mine from GameStop going to be a while lol hopefully worth the wait.
So the more realistic bane at first was sort of like the Nolan version, it sounds like. I like and will get this. Hadn’t seen this or even any manbat and killer crocs in stores.

Just got mine.. to me he has no like neck/chin.. and no signs of intelligence.. he looks like all the angry moments in the comics..but not the talking or planning scenes
I must admit I am in the camp of people that wanted a version more similar to Knightfall, this one differs quite a bit. I think I will be skipping it, maybe McFarlane releases a more classic version in the future. Even so, I am glad people are enjoying the figure so much.

I think McFarlane was going for a mix of comic and realistic approach of monster Bane so the mask has a grey wash instead of simple white

Just cut the vest and tank off.. I bet it’s doable with minimal degradation. I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a pure classic anything for a while.
