I hope the guys in the department know how lucky they are to have Bob as a chief. And kudos to him for adapting from a very traditional, "our way or the highway", paid department with all the bells and whistles to a much smaller combination department with all the difficulties that come with that.
I just watched this video and wished more Chiefs were like you. I do have one question. In the beginning of the video, you two guys are standing next to the pump panel. What size and length is the hose that is in the trough? Also, what adapters are on that piiece of hose. Thank you for a great video.
I think he was saying it's a 35 foot 5 in. section of large diameter hose. Very handy. 25 foot can be a little short. 50 foot makes of a lot of hose laying on the ground. 35 is the sweet spot. We call it a "curb jumper".
