Hi all, today (17/04/23), I attempted PTE for the first time and scored 84 points overall (L 83, R 81, S 90, W 85) after a week of preparation. I really owe to Language Academy for providing the plenty of free materials, especially in giving free access to mobile and web apps. I used the templates and other strategies provided by LA and I practiced a lot on their website. Also, following SKILLS PTE ACADEMIC youtube channel was a real confidence booster. The freely available contents helped me to understand how to do better in Read Aloud and Repeat sentence. The grammar rules he recently shared was also valuable in Fill in the blanks related questions. To my surprise, the result came in just 1.5hrs. I expected minimum a day.

Hey Varun! Thank you for your tips and hints. Last week I could score Listening - 84, Reading - 89, Speaking - 90, Writing - 83 and Overall - 86 from the second attempt. I totally confirm that all these strategies work! The only thing that I'm not sure about is Writing - to be able to score above 80, you have to make up more complicated sentences and use more academic words. Thank you a lot!

Something that worked for me for writing to get 90, I memorized the essay entirely, for example: “Topic” has become an integral part… Once the essay part started, I just wrote down the entire template as it is, and then looked at the question and filled out where changed need to be made. For SWT, 1st sentence, and last sentence. I got a really akward paragraph in my exam today where the last sentence itself was of around 60 words, so i just took the last half of the last sentence after the [ 1st sentence, and (last half of last sentence).

I gave a test more than 4 times and i got overall 58,59,54 and 53 but targeted score is above 65 i am hopeless now i used LA platform 2 years before for the preparation but now again i booked my test in october and starting practice using LA after using i am very disappointed to see fees on speaking materials

Hey Varun! Thank you for your tips and hints. Last week I could score Listening - 84, Reading - 89, Speaking - 90, Writing - 83 and Overall - 86 from the second attempt. I totally confirm that all these strategies work! The only thing that I'm not sure about is Writing - to be able to score above 80, you have to make up more complicated sentences and use more academic words. Thank you a lot!
It's not true. I used his templates for writing nd scored 90 in writing
