I started listening to Chris three weeks to my English exam. I concentrated so much on speaking that I only prepared for the rest in one week. I did my exam on 7th September and here are the results. Speaking 7.5, Reading 7.5, Listening 7.5, Writing 6.5 Overal 7.5. Thankyou Chris.
I didn't do any practices. I prepared by watching the videos only. I believe I am capable of a higher score. Practicing would have helped me but I was in a vulnerable state and couldn't practice well. also I didn't use very complicated words in my speaking or any crammed words I just went in and answered the questions in a very simple language.

My test was yesterday (computer based) and i got my results. I scored an IELTS score of 8 after practising for just 1
week and all i did was listen to your YT classes and do mock tests from the IELTS official website. I had no other subscriptions or coaching classes.

@@SostikaSos-qt9cu depends on your requirements. if you need 6.5 or 7 it is not so hard, but if you need 7.5 or higher then it might be a little bit challenging

I'm so happy to tell you that I got 7.5 Overall for CD IELTS I passed on Sept. 8. Despite expecting (and wanting) 8.0 I'm so glad and thankful to Chris and IELTS Advantage!!! I didn't buy any cources, just prepared with your videos and other free materials I found. I think if I practiced more and longer, I only did a week actually.. I'd get my desired score. Plus if I didn't get distracted on listening part.

Totally agree with this. The third paragraph is always the most difficult one, and you can easily focus on improving your vocabulary and your ability of reading if you have problem in this part. Also, this would be helpful in the second paragraph, as these two tend to have tricky options to challenge candidates. T/F and Headings are both confusing, so learning the techniques to solve these kind of questions will be very useful.
Hey thank you so much. I am a non-native English speaker and I watched your videos a day before my exam and got a lot of helpful tips. I got a Band 8 overall. (Reading 9, Listening 9, Writing 7.5, and Speaking 7.0). I watched your speaking traps video but could not help myself from digging my own grave with traps and lost myself some points in speaking. You are literally a life saver. I signed up to do the IELTS with no past knowledge of the exam or what it even was. I signed up on the 20th of sept and my exam was on the 25th (iq 300 move, I know).
