Attainment through Archaeology Case Study - Robert Burns Academy 2022

We recently completed a 5 workshop Attainment through Archaeology with S1 pupils at Robert Burns Academy Supported Learning Centre in Cumnock. Throughout the project pupils explored local sites, including Cumnock Old Cemetery and the Ballochmyle rock art panel. Here’s what they had to say.
Attainment through Archaeology aims to engage and connect young people with their local heritage, raising aspirations for work and further learning, developing new skills and knowledge while improving health and wellbeing within a supportive, outdoor learning environment.
