- Hello Viewers, In this video I will be sharing my experience on the day of appointment for my FRV interview. I was little nervous and made some silly mistakes, So I hope you will learn from experience and don't repeat same mistakes.

You just have to proof verbally and through documentations that your marriage is not sham, it's real and you're not going to Germany to get a PR through your husband. I have worked as a visa officer. Well explained. Happy Reunion!😊

Suppose, I am in India and I get a job offer in Germany. Now,
1. Can my spouse travel along with me from the start?
2. If no, then do I need to travel first and come back to India and then take her?
3. Should I apply for a family reunion with WORK PERMIT or after getting the BLUE CARD ?
4. How long does it take to get the BlueCard after you travel?
5. How long does family reunion visa usually takes to process if I have blue card or WORK PERMIT?
No, you habe to go alone
1. Your spouse can travel with you, You can apply for Blue Card and dependent visa together (I’m sure about this as one of my close friend recently joined here, he came along with his wife)

3. You don’t need to apply for FRV in this case, You can apply for dependent visa
4. Initially you’ll get visa for 3-6 months, then after coming here you need to apply for blue card, You can get that within 6 months. Before your visa gets expired, you can apply for extension

Can you pls advice if you did not have the marriage certificate and that is the reason priest certificate was requested by the consulate? or If we have the marriage certificate then priest certificate is required or not. How to get an appointment for Family Reunion? We booked an appointment for D-Stamping visa and german embassy said that one needs a special Family Reunion appointment but I am not sure how to book an appointment for family reunion on VFS, as there is no category of Family Reunion.

Hi thanks for the video.. small query, can the spouse live in her home city which is in a different city than the city of her husband (blue card holder) during marriage verification by the officer?
I would like to apply my employment visa and also include my family. Now its clear how to apply employment online visa application, but for family reunion visa " is there any online form like employment visa has to be filled. Because for family there is also a contact information form has to be filled and first blank for barcode. Now i need to know" which bar code they are asking for"? Is it from my online employment visas bar code?
In family reunion visa category ,i could not find any online application form. Only related in pdf file are given and just filled those form manually and take appointment for interview, and present during visa interview.
Please clear this concept, because i have to give interview next week with family.

Priest certificate is on behalf of the priest who is involved in all the marriage rituals. It has information like the date, place of marriage etc. He needs to undersigned this certificate.

Hi Aditya. You can share your email id I will send you the format or You can choose any template from google. Edit it as per your details and get it signed by your priest. Make sure it is on behalf of your priest.

If you put your goethe A1 certificate in your file then they obviously ask questions in german

In case wife doesn’t have birth certificate, any DOB proof worked earlier. but now recently req changed, now birth certificate is mandatory. One of my friend was also in same situation, he also obtained it before his appointment

You can try calling vfs or try website in every hour, there are sometimes cancelled slots

In Delhi Embassy, Visa interviewer were Indians so i don’t think Hindi language would be an issue.

Hello, no its not mandatory in case your husband/wife have blue card. Otherwise you might need A1 level german

If you have PR, then your spouse don’t probably need A1, but just to make sure, you can contact vfs they can tell

How much time took for total process, from apply date to till you get visa.
Hello Ronak, here’s the timeline(its on my husband’s behalf)
4th Mar - Luckily got appointment for next week after trying for 2-3 months
11th Mar - Appointment in German embassy, New Delhi
24th June - Lawyer came for marriage verification
25th July - Lawyer went to wife’s parent house(which is in other state)
1st Aug - Checked status with ABH in Munich, They asked to submit list of documents(via email), though they didn’t received the application.
30th Oct - My wife received approval email from German embassy and asked to submit visa for stamping!
2nd Nov - We will submit the passport for stamping..
11th Nov - Got Passport with Visa Stamped

Thank you for your comment Dhanashree. Normally, family reunion long-term visa (category D) costs 75 Euro for adults and for children up to 18 years is 37.50 Euro. Just before one day of interview convert it into INR and make the DD of that amount.
Don't covert the amount. On the German Embassy website a clear number in INR is mentioned. Carry that. If your interview is at VFS, they also accept cash or card. But if your interview is at a Consulate or the Embassy, they only accept DD. (Just check the india.diplo.de/ website for updated information)

And is it compulsory to have knowledge and certificate of A1 german level ?
They only ask documents, and that they ask in English. German is not required when spouse have blue card, otherwise on normal work permit, A1 level is required

@@Germanlearn0903 hi . Well I applied for my visa on 29 dec 2021 n my verification also done on 26 Jan 2022 . I'm still waiting for my visa no response yet. Well consulate at the time of my visa interview asked me such questions in German but she told me maybe they'll take it . But I don't think so !!! Well what's about you ? when you applied n what's about your verification ? Consulate also asked you for your German test ? Please explain that will help me .
@@Germanlearn0903 Sorry to ask : what's your qualifications ? Bcoz A1 is mandatory for German spouse yes they submitted your application but authority will not approve your visa and they will delay your visa till u r not submitting your A1 certificate. Just apply for A1 and get a certificate asap. Rest just hope for good . Indian German couple is my insta handle it's not seem good to talk about such things here so you can ping me there 🙂.

I am not sure about this. They may ask the certificate as per your custom.In case any document is missing they will give you time to submit.
