Pour some rubbing alcohol in with your wash fluid it helps from freezing ice on your windshield wiper blades forming ice on them.

My brother drives and he was telling me about his first time experiencing seeing what he thought was shadow's waving at him....he thought he lost it...thankfully he was a couple miles near his partner transporting too they met up to park him ASAP and explained to him what it is and Truckers Have a Word For It....i forgot what it is called but basically he needed to sleep!!!! *He been now in 8+ years now but he always keep the same safety never settling in always staying alert and on it!! KUDOS LADIES!!

Thank you for what you do. I used to be a trucker myself from 1997 to 2012 and 4 years of that was OTR. Been through Oregon but not in extreme weather like that. Out of all the years of driving, I never had to chain up.Stay safe out there and keep on truckin 🇺🇲

Carry some rubber bungees to keep your chains tight. And make sure chain hook ends that goes across the tire tread that connects to the sidewall face out at from the tire.

That same evening I took 20 out of Ontario heading west and it was snowing with areas of ice but I did not have to chain up but the curves are not fun and the fact it's a 2 lane highway and deer are everywhere I had one actually waiting on the curb in Burns to cross the street so I stopped and he crossed the street.

I give you two high praise for chaining up. The line of trucks are the guys who say if I have to chain up I shouldn't be on the road. Boohoo . I didn't notice if you had bungee on the wheels or not. They have one piece bungee that keep tension evenly or you can use singles. Also, drive a short distance and tighten the cams because they will loosen

I drive for work too (just a van not a truck) and as soon as the snow melted in NW Washington I saw little piles of snow chains all over the roads 😂 so you're not the only one who lost em!!

The road video was great. The winter time was very obvious. About losing the chains they may have wore out if you drove very far on the bare pavement? However if you were driving in snow the chains probably didn't wear out? Sometimes chains will need to be re tightened after the tires make a few revolutions? About customer service it is really bad at a lot of food service places.

This is my first winter season and of course Doner Pass and Tahoe is hit with a 50 year record snow fall season for December. It's crazy driving in it but if you take it slow and have on a tight set of chains, it's not to bad.

That is so scary to be driving in all of that crazy weather..I give y’all so much prop’s to be dealing with that I could not..I was wondering if the chains fell off or broke also..Somebody done lost a shoe out in that parking lot 🤣🤣..Awww dang that suck’s I felt your sadness thru the camera for that canceled load.. The racetrack truck stop in Davenport,Florida which is the Hanes city exit is really nice in the inside..of course I’m not a trucker so I can’t check out the shower’s and stuff but from what I can see it’s really nice in there..Such beautiful scenery as always look’s so pretty with the snow everywhere..But thank you for sharing..P.S. i got you and Eliante two more gifts a piece I won’t tell you what it is since I know you like it to be a surprise.. but once I get it I will send it off to you both..🥰😍💕
Drag chains are your tightest they'll break the easiest... breaking chains is pretty common going over cabbage Hill.
Driving over snow-covered mountain passes is pretty challenging and stressful... my carrier had me sign an affidavit that I'll be willing to drive over snow-covered mountain passes.

I don’t miss driving in the snow smh I drove in weather like that n I had never drove in snow in my life but in a semi I did it it was an adventure for sure.
I've never been on that stretch of 84 to have seen Cabbage but I see it was typical winter mountain pass type conditions that day ( night actually ). Anyway a couple of curious questions for you pertaining to the tire chain theme, what speed did you try to hold it down to and if the company has a rule around max speed with chains, also do you recall what brand those chains are. I have a feeling that the trailer chains were looser then you thought, its easily done if the cross chains end up on an angle at the top of the tire when installing them as well as having to go for a little ways and check them as more often then not they loosen up and have to undo the cam tensioners and do up the end hooks tighter, do up the cams again etc. Also yes it would be better if you had those good spider bungies but they don't solve a loose chain issue. Installing chains, pulling them off etc in cold or mud is anything but delightful, I've done a bit of that long ago in the oil patch and chains that are far heavier then those "highway grade" chains.

The trailer tires aren’t driven. I think that helps retain them.

Damn started watching your videos a grip ago when I was in trucking driving school. I never passed lol, I failed my parallel parking 3 times and waisted my money. I got respect for how easy you make that shit look.
Parallel parking is actually easier on the road than having to use the rules in trucking school. Only one rule. Don't hit anything.
