The game devs really should employ you. These videos are hands down the best tutorial for this game. I have tried to get into Conan around 4 or 5 times and have given up as I just didn't know what to do. your videos have made me enjoy playing again . Thank you for that.
Same here I reach level 15 in my first time since I bought this game like 2 years ago and I barely build a home. Plus I got killed so many times that I gave up. I decided to play this game again after watching these videos. I'm in level 27 and I havent died yet lol.
If you're going to bum around that far north, stealing a few wolf cubs can be VERY worth the trouble as pets, considering their massive health pool. Bear cubs can be stolen as well. Far better than anything else you can tame in the south.
Episodes 2-7 of this series are all excellent vids. I like how you are taking your time and not rushing through these tutorials. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, yeah one of the reasons I started the series was that too many guides rushed players to high level areas too quick. While that is fine for experienced players trying to level super fast, it would just lead to new players dying over and over, getting discouraged and quitting the game.
I am ONLY a watcher NOT a Player but the way you explained things in your last episode impressed me as no one else (so far) has give out the How TO IMPROVE Weapons like you did. Even I as a non player could follow it with no problems.
I get horses from the bank just east of Kommodo Island on Nube River, got one there last week. Kommodo Island is shaped like a dog's head at the border between the desert and the jungle.
There are also foals and rhino calf spawns at the east end of noob river, along the south side. Foals are along the shore SE of the Black Hand camp. The rhinos are at the top of the cliffs east of the desert temple. You can either climb or follow the cliffs west from where the desert temple area desert transitions to grassland then go south and east along the cliffs.
The jungles are a great early source of horses, leavening, silver, gold, & thick hides for armor but suck nuts when it comes to thralls. T4 dogs of the desert fighters have 1k more health than Lemurians or black hand, and relic hunters are basically premium if you have a base near Sepermaru
I know it was a video or two before when you spoke about teaching having weapons in a specific slot for muscle memory. There is also an unbound button for sheathing or unsheathing the weapons you have. I use it while I'm mining. I bind it to F or an extra mouse button so I press it once and my shield and axe come out at the same time
Another great video guide! Keep them coming, they are a great source of really useful info and not just for beginners either! Thanks for all of your time and effort!
there is a spawn of a single foal about 1 map grid to the east. It is the east side, north bank, of the dafari village on the rocky arch. There is a Named Exile very close to the foal spawn, so if you find the thrall in old-style Semperu purple and black armor, you are in the right area. Down along the river is a great place to harvest Aloe too.
Downloaded connan exiles the other day and played it abit, built myself shack and was completely lost trying to figure out how to do pretty much anything. Thank you for the videos these are also really fun to watch aswell as helpfull

No skill, just hack at each other and move on. You've proven otherwise and I think you for it.
@37:00 I prefer to feed my horses bark since I think I read somewhere that agility makes them easier to turn and that's really all I care about. If it dies I'll just get another one. I usually have a few on hand anyway.
I've seen foals couple times in small plains area between desert and jungle, they're much closer and easier to get. Also I always get grey horse after taming

In my beginning in 2018 I was using two handed sword and then I discovered one handed axes. :D Surelly could use shield while fighting with axe, but I always go agro and the stuck/stun effect, which axes in general give to the enemies while using combos, usually won't give them any chance to defend themselves.

it is anecdotal, but i've found thralls are best when they use a weapon of the same type they are deployed with. And it's been said, after they took the spin to win great axe animation out the weapon as a whole is bad. Likewise i don't like spears that much either now that the tripping swipe has been removed.
I hear that a lot, but I don't see any real evidence for it. They seem to be more than happy with whatever you give them, however the AI isn't that great for any weapons with strange secondary attacks, such as the pommel with the 2-handed axe, or them throwing away the javelins :-D Once we get into legendary weapons I tend to give them them best based on the boss they are fighting.
Do shields make you 100% immune to damage? It seems like you're able to just stand there and take any attack as long as your shield is up, without even losing significant stamina.
Not quite 100% but close. There are some attacks that will break straight through a shield, but not many. Each hit you block does use stam, not such an issue when blocking one mob but when multiple are on you it will use up stam fast!

Are armorers good fighters ? I haven’t found another good fighter after my other one was eaten by the croc boss. Seems all I’m getting to spawn are level 1 fighters or level 2 armorers
Armourers can't be placed on the ground to fight, they will only go into work benches. If you are only getting Fighter I's to spawn sounds like you are getting bad RNG. Tame one, level them up a bit and use it to kill all the Fighter I's and hopefully a Fighter II or III will spawn in there place.
I've been having problems with the rhinos. I have the Isle of Sipta and I can craft the Rhino Saddles been when ever I tame a rhino there's no saddle socket to put the saddle in like there is with the horses. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong of if it's just a bug or something.
When you tame a Rhino Calf in a pen you get the chance of it being a Rhino, White Rhino, Black Rhino or Greater Rhino. Only the basic Rhino has the saddle option

do you ever fight other humans? Single player?
We fight a LOT of human NPCs. Or do you mean actual players/PvP? This is recorded on a single player game
@@AngaarUK human mate, was jw. thanks.
