Ato Forson issued LC for the 50 cars Just as stipulated in the contract. It wasn't Ato Forson who ordered the payment. the payment was approved by the ministry of health. Ato Forson issued the LC on behalf of the ministry of health, and he wasn't the same person who approve the payment when the document for the shipment was submitted. the director at the ministry of health is the one who approved the payment, and the AG has discontinued the case Against the former director at Ministry of health. Why did the NPP government sit down for the cars to rot? is it that they didn't how to contact big sea blue to come and fix the 30 cars that were not fitted with the necessary kit for an ambulance? or the plan was to sit down till the cars rot and then accuse Ato Forson of causing financial loss to the state? because as a privet citizen if I buy something and I later found out the thing I bout is not up to the spec I thought I was buying, I will return the item for refund or for replacement. I will not sit for the item to rot and then start a legal process. this case is almost 3 years old ooo so will AG continue to prosecute the issue from opposition? well in my opinion AG should have accepted the 2 million euros from big sea blue before this court wahala. even if he managed to convince the judge to jail Ato Forson that won't bring back the money, so the best deal is to first take the 2 million and then start the court process. cause it is unlikely Ato Forson will be convicted. The case against him is not strong, the AG doesn't understand how LC work that is why we are still in court over this matter.
