Giulietta, a wealthy aristocrat from Europe, dreams of becoming a lounge singer, despite the resistance of her influential banker husband. She stands against his control and the pressure from his family, as she has access to important financial information. One day, an attempt is made on their lives, but Giulietta finds a gun in the car and manages to defend herself and her husband.
After the attack, her husband contacts a security specialist, who sends his best agent, Nick. Upon arrival, Nick quickly finds himself entangled in the couple's internal conflict. He saves Giulietta in numerous dangerous situations and begins to suspect that her husband himself is behind the threats, planning to betray her.
Nick realizes that Giulietta is in great danger and falls in love with her, deciding to protect her from the threats. Together, they try to escape the danger, risking their lives, and strive to leave behind the world of lies and betrayal.
