Fun with Chinese Nationalist Kuomingtang woman assassin. Great action but sword play was not Japanese style. She was helped by Communist guerilla soldiers in Shanghai trying to kill Japanese leadership. They made the effort to use traditional Chinese characters for the signs and billboards. There is a big lie. Chinese Communist forces at that time did not fight the Japanese. They often betrayed the Kuomingtong army by giving vital troop information to the Japanese. Their ultimate objective was to preserve their strength and let the Japanese whittle the KMT forces. This movie is very typical internal proganda to brainwash the mainland China population. 🥹
