How To Quickly Explore Data in R: DataExplorer

  • Sometimes you may have very little time to familiarize yourself with new data. How many missings are there? Which variables are problematic in terms of missings? Which column types are there? How are the variables distributed, how are they correlated? How about a PCA (Principal Components Analysis)?
