it's crazy how ever other BlazBlue game makes me realize how much I truly got scammed when I bought BB Tag back in the day
I understand the sentiment, but I still think BBTAG is a great game. Though it's probably not for everyone
BBTAG is a very fun game, but it is not a traditional fighting game IMO. Auto-run, shortcut for air dashes, reversals for EVERYONE, are just some of the reasons BBTAG should NOT be the game you want to use to get better at fighting games. It creates very bad habits. Not to mention, mashing your way out is indeed an option, since combos are not that execution heavy(well, for most chars at least). BBCF is a better option, since you are forced to have good fundamentals if you want to be good at it. Well, unless you play Mai, she is a BBTAG character in CF lol
Honestly for me, I didn't dig the auto ground ukemi mechanic as i like to think tactically (and sometimes get up normally), but everything else was alright.

sadly the nerf was too great in centralfiction making him really chanllenging to play with against really competent players

@@cat55198 yes, but you're cutting at least 3 major characters from the roster, with potentially up to 6. Ragna, Hakumen, and Terumi are dead, with Terumi taking Susanoo off the roster with his death (thankfully). Hazama got yeeted into the Boundary (though you can pull people out of that), and if memory serves, Jin fused with the Susanoo Unit to stop Terumi from retaking it after getting yanked out by Ragna. Though Hakumen was originally Jin inside the Susanoo Unit from an alternate timeline anyway, so he's fairly easy to explain bringing back. But Ragna and Terumi would feel way too cheap to bring back, regardless of what reason is given (outside of them maybe being playable, but just not showing up in the story).
And I'm not saying that they can't make new stories in that world, or make new villains, I would love to see more of this world and these characters. I just want it to feel like the events of Central Fiction mattered. When Ragna gives his life to destroy the most evil person in the world, who has tormented him his entire life, that needs to stick, on both ends.
Also, if they make a new game without a playable Terumi, I might just watch/read the story online. Terumi is way too fun to play, even if he's bottom tier. I've mained him since I started learning CF, and I don't think I can bring myself to pick a new BB game if he's not in it
