I adore this man for finishing his review of Mobius inside of his review of The Bad Guys
True PASSION
I work at a cinema and was able to catch the last 10mins before cleaning the cinema, and it was honestly quite impressive. Great voice performances, nice animation and art style and I was even laughing at the jokes.
now get this, this guy JARED Harris is in a movie with JARED Leto......
Adored this film, hope it does well in the box office but knowing Dreamworks’ track record it’ll get sequels even if it doesn’t. Entertaining from beginning to end.
I TH no there is over 20 books so they have plenty of material
I really liked the characters and their animation, the story was alright but I personally loved how expressive and fluid the character's expressions and movements are with all the cartoonish motions like swimming whole in free fall or momentarily ignoring gravity after accidentally falling off a rope, really good movie
Kermode is a legend.
You can almost feel Kermode straining to just give in and say "It's fine..."
The animation community is so excited for this film. I hope its good.
Wow, I'm so glad I watched the Morbius review before this one.
Oh man, this might be right up my alley. Love heist movies, love unusual animation with incredibly specific references, love Daniel Pemberton.
This film is a bit of a homage to the remake of Oceans Eleven including referencing some of Stephen Soderberg'd visuals. There is even a gag in the film referencing George Clooney's suave character and Sam Rockwells voice approximates Clooney's in this. There's also visual gags referring to The Blues Brothers and the first Mission Impossible film.
It wasn't a fantastic film by any means but it wasn't terrible either. The poster made it look like a Wacky Races sort of movie but it's really just a crime caper aimed at junior school children. It ain't Pixar admittedly but it was nonetheless mildly entertaining and quite watchable.
That clip reminded me of The Blues Brothers when all the police were after them at the end
My favourite film of the year so far!, love the animation and the characters, I had such a blast!, best film from DreamWorks in a long time!
I read that as ‘fart’ initially.

"A zoot-suited Mr. Wolf" is a negative stereotype on blacks and Chicanos. The zoot-suit can be described simply as party wear soon adopted and popularised by pachucos, film actors, and in their films, and by musicians as more attractive than the "stick leg" then so common. In 1943 zoot-suiters were attacked by US Army and Navy posted in or near Los Angeles. They were dragged out of street cars and theaters and beaten up, their threads torn or ripped off their bodies. No one was killed, but it was a mini-pogrom none the less, all because of who they were. If this is new work the likely gringo producers need to broaden their knowledge about racial relationships, something hardly new in the contemporary USA, equating zoot-suiters and criminality veritably since the forties. The Pachuco was not a gangster; a barrio is not a ghetto, as bigoted history wishes to depict my community. It's still referred to as "Zoot-Suit Riots" letting gringos off the hook.
Jared Leto was in this?!!!!!!!! where?
Mark just really wanted to get through that joke correctly. 🙂
@@TheDinoKitteh Now i have to watch Morbius too!!!!!!! :D
@@Cobralalalala That's why i like him! :D

Did Mark make a single comment on the film?? Must not have made much of an impression on him...
"it's not groundbreaking fare by any means, but it's kind of fun"
