will the chipless solution also affect the waste tank? or should I buy a chip resetting tool for the waste tank?
I have the same question and cannot find an answer anywhere. Jose, thoughts?
Jose y si se trata de conseguir una main board de la impresora en europa y se reemplaza por la de USA ..cree usted que esto funcionaria..?...Gracias por tanta ayuda...
Probablemente. Pero existe otra Solucion. www.chiplesssolution.com
Jose
The waste recover tanks are not transparent, how does one monitor the amount without it "spilling over"?
The waste tank is the easiest to check, just pull it out once in a while and look, the tank is just a topless container, you can look in directly and see it's status. It also takes the longest before needing to be replaced.
Thanks - Don't own one yet, but, was just trying to cover all the bases before I decide.
You take them out a d look at them. To remove the top grille and replace the soaked insides when needed with any suitable absorbent material and reuse.
Looking at the chiplesssolution website I dont see the the P800 listed. What am I missing?
The website is actually chiplesssolutions with a S at the end.
Isn't it a viable option for US customers to buy a P800 from Europe (amazon uk or de for example) and install third party cartridges with auto-reset chips? I'm wondering what the consensus on that solution is among the people who have tried doing it.
That would work if you lived there. Shipping one to a USA address would be cost prohibitive.
@@cheo1949 amazon's total quote (from the UK or Germany) is fairly good. It's in fact similar to the Epson USA MSRP (without the rebates) or to the cost of a USA printer with the rebate plus the cost of the chip resetting board solution. The only issue I can think of is returns or warranty repair.
Why not spend $70 for the chiplessslution firmware.
@@cheo1949 It does sound like a simple solution. I just don't trust myself to remember to constantly check the ink levels manually :-)
Once a month you just open the ink compartment lid and have a look.
i just purchase 7 new carts off ebay all are espon and full (7 different sellers). found it was cheaper then buying a whole set. But now im getting a error to turn off the printer and turn back on. Thinking one of the chips are faulty or was registered to a different epson. I made the mistake by throwing my old carts out. Will this solution work?
It should if you are talking about a P800.
I don't see the P800 on their website. Any thoughts?
Because it isn't. The P800 already uses a CISS to feed inks. Besides you can't use non OEM systems on the P800.
@@cheo1949 Hi, Jose. I finally bought the Code for chipless solution. Question is; do I need a chip at all on the new aftermarket carts? I notice I can save money by buying blank carts that have no chip at all. Also, do you recommend a CISS instead of the refillable carts alone?? Thanks...
Dos this firware version affect any other aspects of the P800?
Running chipless for 3 months and I've seen no changes in functionality other than the carts are always reading full. Great solution to enable 3rd party inks.
No.
@@dtorresrxperts Where did you buy it Chipless for Epson P800?
