Alexander petion, half Haitian half french
Petion was Haiti biggest traitor, he plotted Dessalines assassination and ruined Haiti's future. every Haitian knows he's no hero of ours. he's record is big time treasonous.

Wow Haiti is beautiful yet propoganda would lead people to think the worse of the island. Thank you African Tigress for your hard work and peace to the brave people of Haiti who are forever being tested.
They want to destroy us.

One day soon Haiti will restore that palace as a museum!!!!
We should. Great idea
I'm Jamaican and I support the restoration of this palace.
You saw how majestic that palace was?
King Henry Christophe was the greatest black man ,if not the greatest human being ever existed. Born into slavery , fought in the American revolution, fought in the Haitian revolution only to become king of the kingdom of HAiti, becoming not only one of the richest man in the world, but also built some of most remarkable monument in Haiti. The palace was built to rival that of the Palace of versailles in France. In a time when european thought black people were uncivilized and should be slaves of the colonizers, King Henry Christophe showed that black people can organize, he managed to build the largest fort in the Continent of america ,building many other forts to preserve freedom for Haiti.
Dessalines too Haitian heroes

King Henry built 8 Palaces and 6 Castles in Milo, all of them, except the citadel, are in Ruin today- After the French imposed the Independence debt Haiti simply started to disintegrate-
Though, I don't understand why, if the Haitian government cannot allocate the money to rebuild these sites, they don't lease the right to rebuild and exploit the sites to a reputable international firm.
Every year, close to 1 million tourists visit Labadee, which is only 12 miles away from Sans Souci, the Citadel, and the ruins of these palaces and castles, zero of them get to visit. 1 dedicated express way, or 1 railway system connecting the site to Labadee would bring so much revenue- if they made the right investments.
What Haitian government are you talking about? How can Haitian governments do the things you're talking about when they're puppets and controlled by Haiti's enemies?
It's not in their masters interests because they are not working for Haiti. Instead, they are working for the international community, so sad, unfortunately .
There is one thing you must remember. Our leaders are given to us. They act in the best interest of their masters and their pockets. Those who tried to look at the master in the eyes are overthrown or eliminated.
@@user-fn2zc1yf9r I've been doing some research about the "gangs" of PAP. Maybe they are NOT what the media wants us to believe they are. Barbecue may be another Dessalines or Christophe that the colonial powers are trying to destroy in order to maintain their iron grip on Haiti. Time will tell. They say, "Every prayer has an Amen." Their domination and crippling grip on Haiti WILL end. VIVE HAITI!!
They don't wanna speak about " BLACK REVOLUTION AND BLACK ACCOMPLISHMENT
What you mean they don’t talk about black revolution… who do you think should talk about your story? You’re are responsible to tell your stories and only you can tell the real truth
Unfortunately most of our people do not realise that we are in a war that is why they make such naive comments.....no fault of the commentor....our people must be taught the reality of what we are facing globally as a people@@daniellehage

Yes sister, this is the Ayiti they are hiding! Thank you for showing the beautiful Sans Souci Palace! king Henri Christophe left an immense dignity in the North and a feeling of grandeur for the people. He improved the nation’s infrastructure, introduced a monetary system, created a system of nobility, established schools and hospitals including a basic school of medicine. He built six notable fortresses and eight palaces in the region. Thank you @AfricanTigress and thank you to your knowledgeable guide as well.
I am Haitian and I am learning so much from this tour. This is epic!
Only one word “ Majestic “.
If we had good leaders, they would have rebuilt this palace, and all the other palaces in Milo long ago- and they would have built a gondola system to link Sans Souci with the Citadel and the Queen's palace, which is on top of the mountain closed to the Citadel.
I wish we could start a crowdfunding similar the what they did for the Wanament Canal to rebuild this heritage.
That is a tremendous idea. If I had money, I would have built all the monuments historic in the country.
How can I contact this tour guide? Haiti is the first Caribbean island on my go to list.

No just Haiti. All black countries had their different stories which I'm sure you are not aware of all.

And Latin America. Petion gave Simon Bolivar money AND soldiers to help liberate his country. That singular act signed the death knoll for Haiti. The colonizers realized that so long as she had money and power, they would eventually lose everything. That's when they decided to keep their heels on her neck and keep her forever in agony. AT, another magnificent content! You are right! Haiti’s history is glorious one! It is a history that has left an indelible mark on the world. The Haitians won the battle against the mighty Napoleon army…A feat that has not been repeated no where in the world. And for this reason, Haiti was punished, isolated and abandoned by the European powers and the United States. France wanted Haiti to be an overseas territory like Martinique, Guadalupe,Guiyana , Reunion Island, but the Haitians refused to live in bondage and misery. Until now, Martinique, Guadeloupe and the other French overseas territories have no sovereignty and still using the French flag 🇫🇷 Haiti is free!! Long live Haiti. We are a sovereign country!! Love you African Tigress!! Now Haitian Tigress ❤❤❤❤❤
The diaspora needs to start visiting Haiti to build up the tourist industry. If they are scared to visit, then other tourists who are not Haitian will be scared also.
