Caparica Primavera Surf Fest received the best European surfers under-13, from the 27th to 29th of March, for the 2nd edition of the MATTAgameON Powered by Didier Piter Surf Coaching. This 2nd edition of the event is focused on the youngest surfers, the next generation, with the goal to present the most complete event that will help these kids to develop their surfing skills.
MATTAgameON concludes with an exciting final day. Kai Odriozola, from Spain, had a solid win in the final against Conor Donegan, 2nd place from the Canary Islands, Hans Odriozola, 3rd place from Spain, and Francisco Ordonhas, 4th place from Portugal. Besides standing out from a total of 32 of the best European surfers under-13, Kai won a free 10 days boat trip to the Mentawai, courtesy of Absorvit Vitaminas and Sumatra Surf Trip, and also free coach sessions with Didier Piter Surf Coaching.
At the end Nuno Matta prepared a surprise by delivering the MATTA Special Award, sponsoring contract with MATTA, to Conor Donegan. But the level of these young surfers was so high that Nuno Matta decided to award 2 more surfers with the sponsoring award, MATTA family got a total of 3 new members, besides Conor also Martin Moina, from Euskadi, and Axel Dominguez, from France, have a new surfboard sponsoring contract with MATTA.
