- The harbour wall in Hayle Cornwall coolapsed into the sea and not for the first time. For council to even inspect this Grade II will require navigating piles of red tape. But me as a citizen journalist armed with our 249g drone have no such restrictions.
in this video i discuss the wall and area, then take an up close drone flight.
Wonder if they will leave it for years like the old crack in the wall that was further down ,it was there for years ,the harbour company have more money now so you would think it would be repaired asap
it still not fixed. i dont think its a money issue, the wall is grade 2 listed so they have to go through english heritage and jump through lots of hoops and red tape.
Yeah yeah excuses excuses ok put it this way ,if this crack had appeared around the time asda was being built and health and safety said no cars to park in the car park for Asda intill that crack in the wall is repaired I know I'm talking extreme here ,but they would soon find a way so they can re pair it ASAP then,its a health safety risk you got kids there walking along the top of that Quay quite often with out adults would it take much to put some sturdy fencing around it so kids can't walk over the top of it ,that harbour company are all take take take ,the prices for moorings down there have gone ridiculous I don't know what they think they got there falmouth marina ,it's a tidal harbour with a dangerous bar to cross,don't get me wrong it's a beautiful place I love it down there I had a boat in the harbour for 15 years but the moorings fees have gone stupid don't look after the fisherman who kept the port going years before that company ever came along,you got the money hayle harbour go through the right channels and fix it ,its been like that for months now
@@Cornishepilepsywarrior1984 i agree with you. despite the red tape, enough time has passed to fix the wall.
