Played along with my 1960 les Paul and it sounds amazing I know he used a strat but I've some how managed to get the right tone settings to make it sound like the song it's amazing

What I now do to avoid yt ads is to view youtube through Opera browser, because it has an ad blocker built into it. So I save the yt website as a favourite, log into it with my username and password, turn on ad block in the settings and only use Opera to view yt. No ads!

If you are serious about the guitar, well you need to build those callouses up on your fingertips. And I see you are a young woman, so don't go crazy on your fingernails like some women do. You are pretty enough, you don't need that crap,and they get in the way of not only guitar playing, but everything else as well. But yeah, it kinda hurts when you first start. Don't expect instant results, but keep at it and you will notice results over time

How do you get along with the timing in such a slow song? I keep counting and don't really get it on the spot!
Play along with the original recording. When it becomes second nature try again with the backing track and you will see results
