What Sardarji is saying is right. The condition of the drivers is pathetic. No bonus, no salary on time. Police bribe. The government apathy is heartening. Truck drivers in western countries get one of the highest paying salary in the world. Apart from this insurance, bonus is amazing. GOI should take care of these people as they are the backbone of transportation which majorly contributes towards reduction of inflation.

I Don't understand why in most of the Vedio the drivers always criticize there work. All the work are challenging. It's same for driving as well. Now the government cannot make Diesel free, servicing free, Food free, signal free. The drivers have chosen this profession with knowing the challenges. What if the government decides to transport all the Goods by train which can be done sooner and has better connectivity. Be positive and tell something about the food, places, driving experience etc, instead of cribbing the work everytime
You are wrong brother for assuming that by having good train network, you won’t need truck drivers. Every country in the world needs trucks despite having best rail network. These people are poor and bullied and abused by thoughtless drivers/ police on the road. Perhaps try to understand their plight and learn to have empathy for poor people

And also if the train logistics are given full fledged responsibility then the dependence on the truck drivers will be minimal. This is the truth even you don't like it. The government is not doing this because they the paint of the drivers.
