🇦🇺Maybe dig out around the outside of the turkey run and staple hardware mesh down and out one foot, then fill the dirt back in. It should deter the rats.
@@pennywillis8895 that’ll be the next step, and around all the animal houses too. But that’s a big job for next year maybe.
That is what I was gonna suggest…. It’s what we did around our chicken coup… grandpa and my dad dug down about a foot and a half and then 2 feet out around the coup… they laid that wire floor down and then buried it wi5 the dirt…. No more rats c9ming up into the coup!
Rats are good swimmers
Right, but do they choose to go in the water? It could very well be rats since we’ve been having such a rat issue.
My wife and I love watching your videos, we only see one dog Olive, what happened to the other one🐶?
@@2freedomjourney my loving Molly girl was hit by a car last June, I did do a whole video about it but we’ve been grieving and adjusting to life without her. We miss her.
I think Chad's spirit is cool with the situation. His "freedom brings us on a journey✌". I assume this from watching all of his past vids. His life experiences (the loss of Storm and Lovely) on the farm sort of helps with these heart-breaking moments. And receiving condolences from around the world 💕is uplifting in itself. Thanks, Chad, for your perseverance and sharing your life with RUclips and with me
Hey, I was wondering if you plan to get any bigger animals like sheep, goats etc?
Eventually, we’re just not ready. They’re much more expensive to keep, need proper fencing etc. We’ll get there though just need to plan out the next steps in developing the farm.
Put carpeting on the roost.
need an owl or hawk buy a baby one and let it live there
Why not put a tarp over the ducks run.
