We were taught it in the stunning stone chapel of the private residential school we regularly stayed at to train together during school holidays before concerts and this has taken me right back!! I will never forget how this music felt to sing under that chapels high arches. The moment everyone got it right it made my soul take flight! It's always a magical moment when in a choir learning a piece and all finally fall into step, with each note from every chorister in tune and on time, so in that moment we all become one. I deeply miss singing such music!
