This makes me imagine that I'm in a ballroom, holding back my tears while witnessing my lover, betrothed to another, lost in this waltz. No matter how hard I may try to move my gaze, he remains as the brightest star in the night sky in my eyes.
Or perhaps, a very sad clown, trapped in a whimsical world. A world where everyone looks, the same, walks the same, talks the same, and is stuck in their own pathetic yet majestic little waltz, which they can never escape.

I feel your pain. I am currently crying while looking through American financial records from 1919 because I cant find ONE FUCKING STATISTIC. it didn't have to be this way, this was just supposed to be an essay on 1920s technologies but it seems i am incapable of coming up with a thesis that doesn't require a complete explanation of the American economy.
