Poor Indrid Cold, gives an earthling a friendly smile and hello, now cursed to have the jokers face in every depiction... All the witness said is he was a nice guy with a smile on his face.
When it said that he went missing for days, or weeks at a time, I immediately thought he was having an affair, and has made up this story to try to cover himself.
@@diemartist the encounter coincided with a lot of other paranormal phenomena happening in the area at the time. Cold told derenberger he was a “searcher”, so it always seemed to me like he was looking for something here on earth. And by smiling perhaps he was trying to put derenberger at ease- attempting to indicate he was friendly (and coming across as creepy unintentionally). It seems to me that wherever he came from there is not a lot of knowledge of earth and our people/ society.
I get an Inception vibe. Like, he's descending into the dream world, our dimension, and he's trying to make sense of things as the dreamer, but also project his intent, which he claims is peace and discovery. There may be rules. He needs a ship to travel distances, he needs a body, if he's Mothman he needs that form to fly... maybe Mothman is a dream drone or scout? You ever try an willfully interact in a dream without some sort of body? I never can. It's like, if I'm going to interface there needs to be some sort of representation of a physical medium. Only strict observation allows the absence of a body. Maybe Cold is just following the rules to the best of his ability, which is clouded with confusion by the interface itself.
@@414pwz that is an interesting take. The "confusion" he exhibited is not something I have ever heard of in terms of "alien contact." We don't really understand why we dream, we just do. What if we are actually entering other dimensions when we sleep?

I think more likely an alien with a bad understanding of human social cues. The grin was likely a misguided attempt to look friendly. I think a demon either be smart enough not to be creepy, or go all out on being threatening.
Had this happened to me and a spaceship landed in front me with a grinning man who simply wanted conversation, I would have DEFINITELY hoped out of my truck and wanted to see the spaceship. I would have been asking all kinds of questions and do my best to make friends with Cold and I would WANT him to take me on board and take me to his planet. To hell with sitting there all scared and shit, I'd be trying to figure out everything I could about him, his ship and his planet.
I find it plausible that we’re not the only planet in this universe that has fostered intelligent life forms. I also find it plausible that if we’ve made it into space, even if by galaxy traveling standards it was nothing, that another of these intelligent beings has figured out intergalactic methods of travel. The likelihood of them stumbling across Earth would still be low even if they did exist, barring some fancy telescope type device that scans for life elsewhere. Now I’m getting well out there. Bc my point is even though I cede the possibility of aliens or even inter dimensional beings bc there are limits to what we can comprehend and what our senses can perceive. What I definitely do not believe is that these beings come to this planet and only reveal themselves to people where there’s no witnesses and normally they’re not the most reliable type of person if ya know what I mean. Plus we live in a time now that almost everyone has a camera on them so where are the less blurry, modern pics of these little green men and their space traversing saucers? I’ll be the first to admit that whether I’m highly skeptical or not, it could very well be the truth but until I’ve seen some better evidence, I’m not apt to believe it. I’ll also cede to the man in this story, among others, actually believing what they’re telling people therefore making their tales all the more convincing especially to people who know them personally. Why that is though, I couldn’t begin to find an explanation other than a brief moment of delirium brought about by some stressing element in their lives. 🤷🏻♀️
Neo62003 ‘ Where in the Bible is it mentioned that there either is or isn’t life anywhere else in the universe? It may well be in there but I’ve missed it if so. Much of the Bible is difficult to comprehend without really studying deeply into each book, chapter by chapter and even then one is still liable to have wholly misinterpreted the true meaning. That and the numerous translations done throughout the centuries since it was first conceived make me a bit wary of trying to derive too much literal meaning from the sections written cryptically. I tend to use the KJV and right there I’m already 15 books shy of the original Bible. Then there’s the book of Enoch 1 and how it seems to fit perfectly w the OT and carbon dated back to the same century the first known Bible was compiled. Idk but I’m interested in looking it up if you’d be so kind as to tell me the in which books you’ve found confirmation either way. Thank ya.
Amber Swafford in the book of Genesis it out lines the formation of the flat earth and firmament in the Middle of water. Then the formation of the stars on the firmament. There is no mention of space that we are falsely taught exist. There is mention of angels, demons, spirts. As for reading and understanding the Bible Jesus said if you don’t understand something it’s because you are not ready to understand pray for eyes that see and ears that hear
I am familiar w the verse. There isn’t enough to confirm nor deny any Biblical stance on the possible existence of life on another planet located in some far off distant galaxy. Just as I’d argue there isn’t enough information there about the firmament to decisively claim the book of Genesis confirms the flat earth theory. It does have some detailing to support such a claim but to say the phrasing “four corners of the earth” and their being covered w the “firmament” (especially not knowing what words every translator chose to interpret as what leading up to the Elizabethan era version commissioned by King James 1 of Great Britain. The wording of the original Bible -the Torah- could have meaning that is nothing near to the accepted definition of firmament as we believe it to have been meant today) can only mean one thing, the earth is flat and all other information given to the people after which is contradictory to that is falsified in order to control the populace via mass manipulation is quite the leap to make if I’m honest. That is a tactic most know has been deployed against one’s own people innumerable times throughout the course of history just as it’s still put to use sometimes even now in current times so I’m not dismissing it altogether as impossible. I am saying it’s unlikely and that the Bible, while seeming to suggest a flat earther stance, in actuality is using a descriptive term very common during the time just following the Age of Discovery. I’m not yet convinced that firmament isn’t a word used to describe our atmospheric levels or what’s now known as the O-zone layer. Again, it’s not a hill I’m willing to die on but more of my take on what’s possibly being said through the translators during the time of King James’ reign over Britain.
Neo62003 ‘ Btw, I definitely think they’re lying to us quite a bit about space. For one, how do they know some of these things themselves? If you pay enough attention instead of just memorizing what’s said in order to pass some test, you’ll notice facts given about certain areas of space too far for man to have possibly traveled out there and which no satellite pictures could actually positively confirm bc physical tests would need to be done which eyeballing pictures is not. Nearly all of science is just theories which may well be true but proven they are not. They tend to forget this tidbit of information when mocking anyone who has doubts. Science has been bought and controlled for corporate and governmental means for well up to 2 centuries now at the very least too which some people I’m close to can’t seem to comprehend and act as if I’m a crazy conspiracy theorist. First of all, no I just keep my mind open to many possibilities plus I’m a study of history preferably using as old of a source as possible and not the state taught hogwash we’re fed in school and second, many past conspiracies have been since proven true, so why can it be so easy now to dismiss the possibility of corrupt people in power plotting for whatever their reason may be? They have always done so and to believe it has ceased in the modern age is really the brainwashed stance to take which is what the people I know have said about me.
@@justchilling704 A demonic connection would seem to fit Ingrid and the Mothman. As for the movie, I vaguely remember it but the 'crop circles' it features remind me of 'witches circles' and 'mowing devil legends' from around the 17th century - so it wouldn't surprise me if the 'aliens' were symbolic of demons in that movie.
@@ABC-po6be I find it to fit much better than aliens even. Tbh there’s no proof of aliens as people typically conceive them. honestly i thought this was going to be about an average man who was forced to always grin. from what i heard during sometime in history i am unsure when, people would kidnap children mainly orphans and disfigure them to sell them to freak shows or circuses. one case i know was a young boy forced to always wear a grin. this idea was based on a movie though i believe my dad told me stuff like that happened or maybe he was just trying to scare me it was an old horror movie after all. so i thought it was going to be a video like that not a alien video. still this was fascinating to listen to.

alot of people are misinformed , the smiling man is an alien , who comes from a planet called lanulos - they are actually humans from earth that migrated space in some way that is hidden today in our society , and somehow evolved in a sate where they dont speak anymore and use telepethy as communications , the reason why they smile is because , we humans smile all the time , its a sign of trust and happiness and this is the human side that they still have in them
Never been so scared to get out of my bed and get a drink of water
don't look under the bed then.....
sleep with one eye open, gripping your pillow tight.....
Metallica later years definitely scary sad
I'm a skeptic, but not altogether unbelieving. What I do know is when I read or listen to accounts of Indrid Cold sightings, my body is racked with chills like I'm outside during the winter. And it should be noted that I am extremely difficult to scare. But this things creeps me out big time.
Is there a way I can contact you zach? I have a story that might give you chills..
So you're a skeptic, but you believe an Alcoholic loners story about hanging out with an alien multiple time over months and years?
@@derfvcderfvc8714 at what point did I say I believe this dude's story? "Not altogether unbelieving "is not the same as saying "yep, that's facts." I think there is something to the Indrid Cold/Mothman shit, but hell nah I don't believe dude had an ongoing friendship with an alien. Read better and understand the words you're reading.
I've heard this man Derenburger's verbal testimony on this event.A nice respectful man & well spoken.I don't think he would appreciate you describing him as, ' Bricking it' if he were alive today!! I'm sure you can find better words to describe his fear. 👽
If the Joker lands in front of me and knocks on my car window, sure, I'll open the window and talk to him, no worries here.
😂😂😂😂it’s joker in it
It's Pennywise, the Joker is lame.
I think Indrid Cold is looking the Mothman because after he was seen by William the Mothman was seen a few weeks later
Poor Indrid Cold, gives an earthling a friendly smile and hello, now cursed to have the jokers face in every depiction... All the witness said is he was a nice guy with a smile on his face.
Sad how many grown ups watch batman ffs.

That's the most maniacal evil AF smile ever. Damn.
When it said that he went missing for days, or weeks at a time, I immediately thought he was having an affair, and has made up this story to try to cover himself.

Cold seems like some sort of dimensional traveler; should he exist.
@@sarahab540 I agree with you.
Why interdimensional? I think he was an alien doing a bad human cosplay.-
@@414pwz that is an interesting take. The "confusion" he exhibited is not something I have ever heard of in terms of "alien contact." We don't really understand why we dream, we just do. What if we are actually entering other dimensions when we sleep?
Thank you sir
Was injured cold one of the Legion demons that are spoken of ?
Inspiration for Joker . Heard of the laughing man movie wonder if it any good some of those vintage movie our surprisingly good like "Faust" and Metropolis
Had a very weird interaction with an older lady last week. She would only look at me and smile, but told me her order and had a short conversation with me. It was an odd conversation, so I talked to my coworker about it...she said the lady never said a word and thought I knew her so I just knew what she wanted.
Probaboly nothing but made me feel weird later. Most likely thing is that my coworker just didn't hear her...but idk.
I love this story

Oye there. Interesting theory about IC: " if he's grinning, he's sinning"!😄 I take the last idea made more sense to common human beings. But how would one explain the similarity of sight seen (IC: grin'n), in another far off location in a different year!? The likelihood of the girl hearing the grinning man story is remote. But we are connected and the only way to know we've shared same💡 experience is in the telling of the tale! Message!📖 cheers laddie 🍺

Humans are the true demons lol
Demons like the evil humans.
I think more likely an alien with a bad understanding of human social cues. The grin was likely a misguided attempt to look friendly. I think a demon either be smart enough not to be creepy, or go all out on being threatening.
Ik this guy who smokes a lot of flowers and he’s always got a plastered smile on his face too js 🤷♀️😉 true story tho
Yeah watch you be the first to run away if it actually happened to you lol

Read the Bible all the answers are there
Neo62003 ‘ Where in the Bible is it mentioned that there either is or isn’t life anywhere else in the universe?

"WE mean you no harm." is eerily similar to the Bible's "Do not fear" angelic visitation accounts. For WE are many - Legion?
It gave me some demon vibes as well. You know the movie Signs? Well those aliens in it are actually demons.
And as for Signs yeah those circles did look like something like a witchcraft ritual circle. There’s a video about the movie and why those “aliens” demons I’ll try to find it.
Watch Hellier for some interesting info on Indrid Cold. They interview Woodrow's daughter Tanya. It's weird. I have been trying to use a ghost box to contact him, but no luck. lol
Im sure Indrid Cold had something to do with the Mothman events which happened not lomg after.
Sounds like a higher dimensional being having a dream. Or on a mission. But, the very knowledge of their mission is a bit of a mystery to them because of the poor interface and communication gap.
This is a fallen angel, nothing but pure evil.

Is there a tie between Indrid Cold and the mothman?
They always seem to appear together whenever there is a sighting.
That mans name is mentioned in the mothman prophesies movie
"Was driving along the other night and a spaceship pulled up and this alien guy was lost and needed some directions as to where he was " .
The picture y'all use looks like Paul Harrell mixed with the Joker
I believe mothman and Indrid are like Bruce banner and the hulk. They are the same vessel, but not the same entity
the menacing grins depicted on basically all illustrations of Indrid are so stupid and bear absolutely no resemblance to any of the credible stories of him. In the The Woodrow Derenberger Interview, Woodrow said the man has a reassuring smile that made him comfortable and he communicated to "not to be afraid of him" and used normal human expression to further communicate that message, which made Woodrow more comfortable. He didn't have a cliche Joker looking smile FFS...
What is the Joker doing in this story?
If a Alien arrived at earth they wouldn't know anything about us except for what we look like
So the grinning face is there way of looking more human without understand that other people would find it creepy
He looks like the joker....so creepy
He's not a villain, people need to stop drawing him like that!
He reminds me a lot of Gaunter O, Dimm or The G Man

honestly i thought this was going to be about an average man who was forced to always grin. from what i heard during sometime in history i am unsure when, people would kidnap children mainly orphans and disfigure them to sell them to freak shows or circuses. one case i know was a young boy forced to always wear a grin. this idea was based on a movie though i believe my dad told me stuff like that happened or maybe he was just trying to scare me it was an old horror movie after all. so i thought it was going to be a video like that not a alien video. still this was fascinating to listen to.
