Yes it is paradise! It's so quiet out here, few cars hardly any airplanes and mostly just the sound of animals and the breeze through the pine trees. Sorry I missed this comment until now Carol! Hugs to you from Ebby and I! :)
I owned horses for 40 years, just gave them up in May 2023. One thing I always meant to was record the horses when they were munching on hay and play it to sleep by, but never did. So thank someone feels the same way I do about the relaxing sound, just wish you had made it 8 hours or more for sleeping. It’s a blessing regardless! Thank you!
I'm so glad you enjoy the video! I agree on the sound being great for sleeping or a nap. On hot summer days sometimes I sit in her loafing shed with her while she eats and find myself very relaxed and willing to doze off. Thanks for the very nice comment and I'll give Ebby a carrot from the garden for you. 🙂🥕🐴
It is amazing to think about the relationship between what the horse eats and the musculature mass it acquires from the food. What a beautiful and healthy looking horse and thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much Jim, She actually has a great diet. That is, she is pretty spoiled. I'm way more picky about her food than I am my own. Truth! Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
Agreed. It is one of life's great mysteries, how does eating grass and hay create this magnificent creature? So strong, vibrant, intelligent, beautiful and dare i say it...humorous? The horses I have known all seem to have had a quirky sense of humour:)
This is the main sound of a stable. There is always one horse eating. And at meal time they all much on their hay. No neighing, just crunches and hay being thrown around... I miss those sounds.
I'm sorry you miss those sounds! It's a wonderfully peaceful part of life with horses to hang out while they eat. Feel free to watch/listen as many times as you like. Even though my horse is right outside I still listen to this video myself! All the best to you and thanks for watching Camille! :-)
This is marvelous - thank you so much for sharing this. You're right about it being very soothing and relaxing for those of us who find comfort in the simple pleasures in life, especially now during the COVID-19 crisis. I often play cat purring videos on my phone to calm both my cat and myself down, and will add this to my list!
Oh this is such a nice comment to read, thank you so much @Anne Deva Powell. I'm so glad it gives you a little tranquility during these rather trying days. I'll tell my horse about your comment when I go outside to feed her again a little later. Really, your comment touches my heart. Thank you.

My bad I thought you were commenting on the spring grazing! Yes I hear you, I could loop this video and listen to it all day. It actually makes me a little sleepy! :D She's munching her hay right now at this moment. It's snowy here but she's inside and happy! Really thank you for watching her videos and commenting! It does mean a lot when her videos make people happy!
For some odd reason RUclips was acting funny about this video. I'm not sure what they thought it might be but... it's a horse eating hay. Please comment and let me know that it is being allowed to be viewed. Thank you!! :)
