Breaking down a square bar

This is an unedited version, so you can see the full time including heats to break down stock with this technique. I think it’s very fast and easy. The bar cleans up perfectly too when you go back and hit the high spots that remain. Forging quickly will happen the better you can strike on the edge and also helps keep heat in the steel.
