Dear Sinead, love watching your walking tours of London, I love the walks you do,around London markets, and, other areas of London. From Julie of Dartford.
Hello, that was a very interesting tour along the canal in Little Venice area. I knew about the canal but never visited it I come from South East London and I never went to that area. I worked in the City of London for a few years then my parents bought a bungalow in Bexleyheath, Kent I moved out when I got married, now divorced, age 80 next week. You give excellent commentary, thanks
Dear Sinead, love all your videos on London walking free tours by foot, love the well known areas, like regents street,Oxford Street, and st James Street, carry on the good work.

Amazing tour in one of the parts of London I love the most and in gorgeous weather. I adore walking along these canals It makes me feel back at home as I’m from Venice. Thank you for this great walk💚
Excellent video! I discovered Little Venice in '93 on a walking tour, don't miss it while you are there. I must say, nowhere in the world has better walking tours than Great Britain, go on as many as you can, they never disappoint. God Save the King!
Watched your video this morning then set of to Warwick St station ( Bakerloo line) out from station walked towards the bridge crossed over to Westbourne gardens walked along the canal for a while the got completely lost ??? Ended up walking through back streets of Paddington’s hospital? Then Edgware rd station & back home 🥲🥲
Oh no, Sally! That's easily done. You lose the canal a bit underground and have to pick it back up here - goo.gl/maps/oqdQ3aTt521JXm338 Sounds like you'll need another visit :)

I can’t get over how there are trees growing in the sidewalks there!😱. People have to take their life in their hands and walk in the road! My son would not get his walker along there I don’t think. This was a lovely tour in a beautiful area, plus all the rides-bits of history.
Thanks once more for watching, Sonia! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
During lockdown, a friend and I began doing extremely long walks to keep our mental health in good working order. That became a habit and we still occasionally do them. Last week we walked the canal from Uxbridge to Little Venice. I really shall have to visit again, because whilst I could see it was beautiful, I was mostly preoccupied with making sure my legs didn’t drop off.😂
Thank you so much for these videos. I would love to visit because of the history of London and I have family from there but Don't have the money to travel like I want to right now.
We hope you will be able to travel to see us in the future, Karen! Thanks again for watching! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.

Yes this is a lovely area. So many canal walks through London. I never discovered them until a few years ago. This one goes on beyond Camden and onto Victoria Park and comes out to the Thames at Limehouse. A word of warning though, they can be very busy on sunny weekend days with joggers and cyclists. Watch where you are stepping as the towpaths aren't very wide.
I wished I would have discovered then when I lived in London I truly do but tooo busy working and at weekends more work! I don't go down often enough this was my old stomping ground! However I'm working on getting a visit in asap. Thanks for the tips 🙂
What a beautiful your! This video accomplished many things to me. I thought I knew where most of the beautiful things in England were. I was wrong. Your series has shown me great at architecture, great beautiful cemeteries to walk and historic churches and even great stores! But this...this is as good as Vienna. I did not know about beautiful waterways like this. Of course, this video was presented by a very beautiful woman with elegance and class! Thank you
Glad that you enjoyed the video, Carol! If you haven't done so already, you can hopefully check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours ruclips.net/user/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos. There is more where this came from.

Wasn't it what was called the Upwardly mobile in the '80's who were buying those River barges, fixing them up, and living on them as they traveled England's canal systems?
What a lovely walk .A bit wet here in Argyll Scotland today . Just found you on RUclips . You have a very relaxed and really informative style. Really enjoyed it thank you 👍 Brian.

Hi, Awesome live history video walk. I enjoyed it can't wait to see more soon. How are you doing? I'm doing well. Have you ever been to the Channel Islands. I went to Jersey island back in 1990s. I heard it's great to visit.have a great day see you next video greetings from Canada 😀
Thanks for watching, Patricia, and for the nice compliment! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please do share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Great video. Although, if there is way to keep the sound levels at the same volume throughout, it would be much appreciated. I find videos less enjoyable to watch when the volume and dubbing continually oscillates. Thank you for the interesting tours!
Glad we could show you something unexpected, Barbara! If you haven't done so already, you can hopefully check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours ruclips.net/user/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos. There is more where this came from.
Maybe I missed it, but what is the name of the restaurant shown just prior to & at the 4 minute mark of the video? Is it actually a favorite in the area? Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this video as this has helped me decide not to visit this place how on earth this was named Little Venice is beyond words a the is not one ounce of resemblance other than a canal your better off just milling around Camden lock
I don't know how far you are going outside the central part Sinead but a nice walk tour would be along the Thames at Richmond all the way to Hampton Court via Kingston or even further (or do it in sections). I guess not so much to see along the way. Interesting buildings I mean, the scenery is great. Edit. And pubs (White Swan at Twickenham is a lovely little riverside pub), Teddington Lock, Eel Pie Island etc.
Lol London is a very big city. It has a never ending history. You can spend a lifetime there and you'll won't even get through half of London's very rich history.
I Don't like an interesting commentary & scenic views INTERRUPTED, by irritating voice telling me to ", Like, Support, Donate" Before or after would be more relevant and even Effective!!!😡 Btw, I Do enjoy & watch the tours! If it ain't broke .... Keep Stum!!!
