The thing with skrillex is he decided to mix technical emotional melodies and hardcore together in one song, with very little space in between. Many would agree it's an innovation, but too soon for a specific aquired taste. The song is beautiful because it's a metaphor for himself, with the lyrics only at the very end saying "poltergeist, I'm a coward too, you don't need to hide my friend for I am just like you" being the only time he reveals his voice under the name skrillex, showing vulnerability. It's a masterpiece if you understand it's intention.
