Hi Jeff- what will happen if the road has superelevation? Will this offset profile follow the superelevation levels at the edge of travel way?? please let us know - thanksMir
Thanks , very helpful video , I have a question please : if I want to change the profile line of ditches without altering the profile line of the corridor, how can I achieve this in Civil 3D
Hi, Mr. Bartels, First of all, thanks for all your support and videos, they help me a lot to understand the concepts of C3d and how to work with it. But now, i need help with the following: I don’t know how to connect the end of the two C3D created offsets of a proposed road of 7.30m wide, with the two lateral edge lines of an 6.50m wide existing road. Do you know if is there a specific command to do this lateral transition? Or a manual method to do this task? Thanks in advance!
Hi Benjamin, I think you will need to add a transition to your offset alignments. This video will show you how - ruclips.net/video/D_FaWYPRRXA/видео.html
Thank you Jeff. Can we show the offset of the 5 m left and right of the alien we take from the terrain elevations as a surface in different colors in the same profile? In other words, there will be 3 surfaces in the profile, the first one will be the axis, the 2nd and the 3rd will be 5 m left and right of the axis, each with a different color.
THNX it's great tools and a wonderful explanations

Thank you sir , do these offset profile follow the superelevation levels at the edge of travel way
Thank you Jeff. I'd like to ask, can these offset alignments be used for super elevation data on a profile view?

@@JeffBartelsCAD Thank you a lot Jeff. I will try it.
Have a nice day!

Most probably you can, just use different styles.
Thanks Jeff!
at the 2:45 mark the cross slope is defined. If my offset alignment is a ditch center-line then how would I void or null defining a cross slope?
Hi Jeff
I have problem with band in vertical geometry ( profil of two surface) any solution plz
Does someone knows if it's possible to create an offset profile once the offset alignment it's already created?
Hi can you give me this data file???
It will help me to understand well
Is there a way to set the offset profile using the parent alignment's calculated superelevation?
Actually, i have the same question, even with the intersection wizard? I have not got any video about it yet
Nice Job
i cannot see create offset profile tool in civil 3d 2017
how we can aper and diapers the toolpalace
