In this video we examine the first 100 sight words (high frequency words) that you need to learn. Sight words are common words that readers need to learn and recognize instantly by sight rather than by decoding or sounding out individual letters. They are important because they make up a large percentage of the words used in everyday reading and writing. When readers can recognize sight words instantly, they can read more fluently.
