I wonder if Ian ever told Mickey how he became an activist at the time
I know he was trying to help everyone but it was obvious that he was a bit off his meds by the time he started feuding against his sister. Even if he denied it.
the gay jesus storyline was all over the place
Yeah It definitely was, that's why I chose to compile this story arc.
I think it was supposed to be all over the place. That is just me hoping it's on purpose.
@@luckylucario It does seem like in the later seasons, the writers were scrambling and just coming up with things on the spot as it went on, but this was a memorable story-line for me regardless. Does seem like they were a bit confused about which direction to take it and were thinking on their feet though, hey. The way it ended was a bit anti-climactic
It was TERRIBLE
Ian is the best character
Only thing that could make this scene better would be if Castiel walked in… (well, also if Mickey was there rather than his placeholder).
top tier comment
OMG I am writing a school essay about this storyline, so thank you a lot!
Awesome

Are you familiar with the violence and oppression the LGBTQ community in China have to live with?
People in China shouldn't be treated as subhuman, because of who they love. In china, LGBTQ community is persecuted the CCP.
@🏳️🌈 Chinese Pride no I don't know much about LGBTQ in China, but it sounds horrible.
@@tvrewind8610
People are being disowned and sold into human trafficking. I've had friends forced into marriages, and some "Disappeared".
The world doesn't know yet. But it needs to get out. This isn't uncommon now that CCP took over Hongkong.
Hey, it’s been two years since you wrote that essay. Do you know what your grade was?
Why is Trevor so chill when he's talking to Fiona after Ian blew up the truck lol 😂 11:50
At least he got to be a Jedi after this
1. I’m not gay but I have no problem with this
2. That preacher who was against gays was making up quotes
3. I went to catholic school where I had to study the Bible
4. Not once did it mention God not liking or against gays
He didnt make up the first one, that said abomination.
Cause Catholicism is very open to gay people.
yeah, it's right there in leviticus
@@juliohidalgo8834 yeah, that's why many join the clergy
@@adammartin180 its talking about Rape not gay sex
He is the gay Jesus
I would watch an entire spinoff of Ian going across America preaching this message all this was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Me tf too
It's not realistic
Lol I live for the weird direction it took, but as a Christian bisexual, the first part of it all did mean a lot to me.
How are u a bisexual Christian? That's like being a tall midget
The first part is a sexual orientation. The second part is a religion. There’s no dichotomy here
If the storyline had Ian it was good! Periodt!
The actor who plays the handsome pastor at the beginning of this clip did some VERY gay stuff in Not Another Gay Movie (2006) !
The actor's name is Jonathan Chase.
@@derrelkizis7865 Yes! He was and still is a VERY hot man.
@@bjornjohansen5397 God, the things I'd do if I had some time alone with him 😩
@@chrisbeaumont4630 for some reason a lot of Scorpio men like him are always incredibly beautiful.
That's Uncle Clifford ❤😂
this was his best storyline
This went so far😭
Cal Kestis in a hoodie instead of a poncho! He can rock anything!
(11:30) the moment it went a little too far
But I gotta admit, he’d already formed a cult of personality by then
Like CM Punk?
Ian abandoned this crap
He should play james cagney
I cried three minutes in
11:02 my fav scene
Our gay Jesus💞💞🏳️🌈💞💞
I need a poster of Ian on my wall
NO I'M IAN GALLAGHER 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
They're saying the wrong scriptures.
Bet this show won’t do Islam next.
In the bible they did mention something about no homosexuals allowed in heaven.
So do they also go to a Mosque in this show?
Nobody has the balls for that, it's up to gay muhammad to take action there. The likelihood of being killed for depicting such a thing definitely makes it no-go territory. I'm sure people just paint it as respecting foreign cultures though.
Was almost on board with Ian until he said Jesus was non-binary... And I'm an atheist
He's of the spirit which has no gender.
I mean, who's to say Jesus wasn't non-binary. Everyone is free to believe whatever they want to believe- that's the beauty of free will. Jesus being non-binary could make sense.
well as a christian, we don't actually know what god is because we shouldn't imagine him. in the end he is like a spirit.
@@lari933 Unfortunately, seems imagining him is all we can do 😉
Technically he is, and like he said, "Jesus is love," showing he sees Jesus as a spiritual being and a being of love.
This was when the show turned to shit for me.
This is so disrespectful towards God- Jesus isn’t gay
Idk he seemed at least a little zesty imo
Did he tell you that?
It's only disrespectful if you think being gay is shameful or wrong which it is neither.
quoting other scripture passages that you think supports your argument doesn't invalidate or say to ignore the glaring one in leviticus. gay people should be rejecting christianity altogether
Bro I'm Christian and even I can admit that the Bible contradicts itself. A lot of that is due to centuries of mistranslation (for eg: the word homosexual never existed in the bible, it was later added to it). Christians are simply the followers of Jesus, and the word of Jesus is love and accept eachother. Whatever Ian spoke is true.
@@andria1561 another pick and choose Christian
@winterprincess 2005 you can have a relationship with 'god' if you want. But why pick the one that explicitly rejects your existence?
@winterprincess 2005 I don't think the Bible mentions transsexuals.
@@adammartin180 bro I'm literally telling you that the Bible is mistranslated. Why would I blame that on religion instead of the corrupt churches that did it!? You can fact-check if you don't believe me lmao
This is why I don’t like shameless
lmao what
It really took a turn in the later on hey, I lost interest around these seasons. Still been meaning to watch the original British version, as the American Shameless started off pretty strongly and did something unlike any other show to my knowledge.
Ian Gallagher is so wrong. The producers of this show also have zero understanding of the hermeneutics of the Bible, as well as the theological underpinnings of many verses. Classic anti-Christians.
lol
Lol and you show zero understanding of what it means to be a true Christian - Christianity is about living ur life according to how *you* believe God calls you to do, while loving others around you through the gospel. This doesn’t mean trying to change others, it means *positively* influencing them with the word of the lord, and not stepping past that unless they ask for it directly. Also, the “theological underpinning” your speaking of applies to everything in the Bible, including Leviticus 18:22
@@livr2783 the OP did not defend conversion therapy, just stated that the show did not positively show Christianity or show its teachings accurately by Ian or the preacher. Also homosexual acts are stated to be sinful at many points throughout the bible, not just old testament, and in different contexts.
God created man and women..
He dosen't made gay and lesbian(Lgbt)
'God' created everything- that includes lesbians, gays, trans people, intersex people, non-binary people etc.
god created and loves all his children. he made us how he wanted us to be and if someone is gay or trans then that's because god wanted it like that.
the Bible and religion is all about loving people like they are.
Gay and lesbian aren’t sexes
trans woman x trans men then
I hmelchhia nih chu a va mu hmak rawh.
