Ikr?! And the moves are the same. They just put a lot of swag into theirs….hips, shoulders, arms etc is emphasized more….and I love it ❤Definitely going to learn it the basic way and add this swag to it
I just found this video on Facebook Saturday; it's from Brazil. The dance originated here in the states--I saw a tutorial for itdating back to 2012--but these young Brazilians brought a real flair to it. This will be my instructional video.
+YourHalfSister The music in the beginning is Brazilian but the dancers are definitely Black American. Black Brazilians will bust out a mean "samba" or "baile funk" but black-Americans own the soul and rap genres. I have no definitive proof other than I'm black and have lived in both Brazil and America but you can just TELL that's some black (american) folks killing this line dance.
I saw this video on Facebook some years ago. I thought I saved it. I’ve been looking for about 3 weeks and couldn’t find it. I love to watch this! It just makes me happy. Oh girl with the scarf on her head was killing it!
It's so nice to see something other than twerking! I see 5 dislikes so far. What's not to like? Unless these are folks who have no rhythm and couldn't do this dance if their lives depended on it! 😂
I love this video! Beautiful to see our people having a good time. I thought they were American as well but you can clearly here the DJ is not. Our people were spread out all over the world and things like this is what connects us. In different places but we are the same people. Nobody does it like we do. Many imitate but none naturally sound and move like our people, our family. They killed this, I love it. Beautiful!
Now this dance is blowing up on TikTok. But I will always remember this video of Queen with the wrap on her head killing it. We need to find all of them and give them their roses. ❤😊
I'm a total Johnny Come Lately to this video n dance...just saw it on facebook last night...im totally obsessed! I can't tell u how many times I've played it....I absolutely LOVE IT! It's totally contagious...I wz at work jamming to this style of music n reggae all day long...

i see some of you say i am hyped, go go music will do that to you, love this song and they were getting it, but for those who might not know, this type of musice comes out of DC, natural african type music, but the sound in America is go go, if Timberland did, we know where his influence came from being from VA, people from VA and MD dig this type of music, imagine a club with live music that has that type sound playing all night. you can lose 3 lbs a night dancing to this type of music cause you wont want to leave the dance floor...awesome people in the video
