If you don’t like how “goldy” the candelabra snake is you could dilute some black or gray paint and muddy it up a bit. That sort of painting will make it look more weathered and worn, which I’m guessing is more of the style that you’re after. Would make good content for ye DIY vlogs as well. So excited for your Halloween content btw, loved last year’s decor and as a proud Slytherin I can’t wait to see this year’s!

jk rowling created the world of harry potter, one can not separate the art from the creator. she will always be in each of the characters, it’s her world and every time you read the books of watch the movies you’re visiting a part of her mind and imagination.
That is true but there were hundreds of other people that were involved in making the world of Harry Potter available to us: the publishers, the actors, film producers, merchandise designers, theme park builders as well as all the small companies that create Harry Potter content/merch completely independent of her. Those people deserve the support and thanks for creating the HP universe, she may have created it first but she does not get ALL the credit.

You could totally add feet to the metal couldron and paint them black. Also a tip for the graveyard terrarium, I hot glued toothpicks to the bottom of the little head stones so I could poke it into the moss and that helps them stand up straight! So excited to see your place this year!

You could probably DIY that second cauldron to add feet, usually craft stores have bits and bobs that could work! I got the same book box from Michaels and I also could not be stopped from purchasing 2 crystal balls!! One is a fortune teller woman holding a ball and the other is Martha Stewart and is similar to the smoke one you showed. I love Jade the Libra's backseat companion too.
With the snake candle holder you can mix some black paint with some water to thin it out and brush/ dab it on the snake to tone the gold down and make it look a little more antique

Swap out the snakes for bats and this is my house year around.... if you wanted to tone down some of the bright gold, take a cheap disposable make up wedge (packs from dollar tree), rip small chunks off one side, and stipple watered down black paint on it to antique it! I’ve done that to many of the top shiny or too bright inexpensive decorations and it totally changes the way they look!!! Love you channels 🖤🖤🖤

if you wanted to tone down some of the bright gold, take a cheap disposable make up wedge (packs from dollar tree), rip small chunks off one side, and stipple watered down black paint on it to antique it! I’ve done that to many of the top shiny or too bright inexpensive decorations and it totally changes the way they look!!!

The snake you could paint Slytherin green it would look sooo good! Also about the Dumbledore rame crop the poster a lttle bit so the letters are pushed up and showing!! Cool stuff this year as every year!
