  • This is my first time attempt at finding water with "Divining Rods". If what's said about them is true then I'll only have to use my 'Drive Point' to bring water to the surface and use it for the house. I'll then have to depend less on capturing water from the roof since I'll have to make changes to that system.

That's great! I'd always heard of people doing it but I never had. When we lived here we had a natural spring for water so there was no need to look for a place for a well. Thanks for stopping by, please like, share, and subscribe, and please come again!

Hey 7thSon, haven’t seen you in my feed in awhile…you’re still doing good things, looks like you want to be off grid. Peace and blessings to you and your whole entire family

Hey, sorry you have not been getting the notifications. I usually upload each Friday to at least one of my playlists (I was a bit late this week, though). Check to make sure you click on the bell to get notifications. Glad you stopped by!! I'm still working on the "Small House." At this point, it's more about going there and working when I can as opposed to rushing to finish. I'm still having a blast just being in the woods! Thanks again for continuing to visit!!

That was really awesome, I heard of the old method that was used, I just thought it was all fake. I also just got a chance to see your woods in the background, it is simply beautiful...

Thank you! Since it was my first time I was blown away with the whole spinning rod in my left hand and the right doing nothing! When it happened the first time I was there alone, I looked around because I thought someone might be out there behind a tree pointing a magnet at me or something. It's very interesting, but the real test will be when I start looking for the water in the area I've marked. Thanks for stopping by!!

Stand on wear you think the water is and walk at 90 degrees to the water line, count the steps till the wires move a gain that is about the water depth to the top, Straighten the wires and continue in the same degrees counting the steps this will give you the bottom depth . Try this good Luck Tom out of Q. L. D. Australian.

Yes, the whole thing is very interesting. We'll see how accurate it is when I start to dig for water!

Please tell me water and metal difference

This question made me look up the difference. Following is an AI answer so take from it what you will. Once I start drilling for water, I can see if it's water or metal because the rods crossed a certain area.----
      Water witching
The classic method involves walking back and forth over an area while holding a forked stick or two L-shaped rods. When the rods are over a water source, the butt end of the stick is said to rotate or move downward.
      Metal detection
The rods are said to cross when they are over a metal deposit. After crossing, the rods can be used to determine if the deposit is more than six feet deep.
