Bench top drill presses are a must for any shop , that's why I have 3 set up at different RPM's , wood, metal and wire wheel . No such thing as too many tools! lol . Vevor orange looks like Chevy red.
Nice import drill press. I modified my old work bench top drill press with a larger more powerful motor and reworked and pulley system for slower speeds as I primarily drill metal and sometimes it happens to be hard alloys and stainless steel. I biilt an adjustsble oil drip feed to help that poor drill bit live a little bit longer. Lol. Motor oil or transmission fluid works good for drilling hard metals. I built an adjustable vise to hold my workpiece as i drill; pretty handy. Good video as always. GOD bless 73 Earnest K5EWM.
@@FarpointFarms no need to be jealous. Lol. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I used to be a millwright/machinist/electrician. I have heard that the beat on chuck heads have a tendency to slip on the shaft. I have the HF model and was told to tac welding the chuck the shaft. The Vevor did not look like it had room to do this, so if the chuck does slip, I would get some diesel cylinder sleeve Lock tight and see if it would stop the slipping.
Drill presses are super handy to have in a shop.👍
I agree, you might not use them often, but when you do, they are worth it
@@FarpointFarms Absolutely.
Let’s Roll 😊
Sounds good

If you have the room, that is a great way to do it. You would never have to remember to put the settings back like you found them.

You sound like a very capable person to do that. I am a bit jealous

You got the orange Gorilla Glue package hanging on the wall to go with the orange drill press. Now that's color coordination! 😊
It was a coincidence, but I like the look!
Don't forget they make a pizza oven also. 🙂
Seeing that they sell a big assortment. Which style of pizza of oven would you recommend??? I like my anchovies well cooked.
I wanted their doughnut maker-- Totally impractical, but it would be so cool
@@FarpointFarms I followed a recipe I found on YT for making donuts. Just need dough, an egg, some baking soda and a pot of boiling water.
Good idea to have a drill press vice holds you job in place , need to be safe.
Good tip, thanks
This or the Wen in your opinion?
More toys equals more work! ( Right)?
Is tinkering considered work?

Oh, that is good to know- thanks for that tip
I was going to get one but ended up spending more for a grizzly
No shame in that
