    This is not even worth discussing. Just follow the $ at E$ecPN & the $EC. FSU not only ABSOLUTELY deserved and EARNED a playoff spot, their defense would have won it all for them. College football has been ruined forever. Total $cam! Lastly, to blame FSU's exclusion on a player that unfortunately sustained a season ending injury is beyond the pale. Disgusting & evil.

    Just because it didn’t happen when Skipper was in charge, doesn’t mean the current leadership isn’t pushing the influence envelope. ESPN TOTALLY benefits from the SEC having maximum representation in the CFP.

    It was said many times that a non SEC playoff would never happen... Thats all you need to know. ESPN aka Disney aka the committee get to double dip in profits with SEC teams in the playoff. Clear conflict of interest at play here.

    Been FSU fan for 56 years -- old yeah, but still astute enough to see if playoff decision was off. While waiting for announcement, My husband and I discussed that for about 3 weeks prior, K. Herbstriet was saying who the 4 should be and he didn't think FSU was one of them. This was before Travis got injured. Then while K.H. and C. Fowler were commentating our game with Florida, a video showed them monitoring the Iron Bowl. When Bama won, K. H. was delirious with joy exclaiming Bama could be picked for the playoff. We then talked about the money interests of Disney, ABC and ESPN in the final decision. After our discussion, my husband And I concluded before the announcement that we (FSU) would not be selecteced. Then came the announcement which we anticipated. GA also got the shaft.

    • @mnshws12
      @mnshws12 10 месяцев назад

      Herbstriet only started to think that FSU did not deserve to get in once Travis went down, and so did the rest of the country including me. If Travis stays healthy, FSU gets in no matter what Bama did, since they are undefeated and Bama had one loss. Just like last year when TCU had one less loss than Bama. Once Travis went down, and FSU struggled with the last 2 opponents, and Bama beat Georgia, it became evident that Bama was the better team at the end of the year.
      Can you also understand that you did not get in because of FSU and the ACC voted against the 12 team playoff. So stop blaming Bama for winning, and the SEC, or even ESPN and the committee. GA did not get the shaft, as I know with a healthy Bowers and Macconkey would have probably beaten Bama and destroyed FSU. Unfortunately Ga lost to Bama, unless you forgot to watch that game. I am a realistic fan, not a delusional fan.

Pretty straight forward when you think about it logically. All 4 teams have various injuries but all 4 also get 4 weeks to heal up some.

    if you've been following college football for years.. you just now realized subjectivity & opinion run the sport?
    college football fans don't want their sport to become more like the NFL. the NFL makes more money than any other league on the planet. the reason the NFL is successful is because they know what they're doing.
    did people somehow forget prior to the Bowl Coalition in 1992 the Associated Press & the USAToday Coach's Poll voted on who they thought was the national champion?
    12 teams in the playoffs might seem like too many for college football fans but when you increase the pool of eligible teams you increase revenue because you have more markets who think their team has a chance, if they think their team has a chance it increases interest & with increased interest you have people spending more money.
    and before anyone cries "oh, so it's all about money huh?"
    yes, your parents work their jobs to make money to keep a roof over your head & keep you fed & healthy. that's how the world works.

Facts are facts, and this FSU team is not the same one that won the first 10 games. I thought some of our Bama fans are delusional, but all of you FSU fans are crazy. We lost Tua in 2020 and had Jones step in, but were never the same team. Do you know who destroyed college football in 2021? Yes Jones and the Bama team considered one of the greatest. Bama fans knew without Tua we were not top 4, so at least we were realistic. This year FSU should blame themselves and the ACC for not wanting the 12 team playoff, since you both voted not to have the 12 team playoff!! So stop blaming Bama or the committee and blame your conference and your school. Grow up.
