Good video. I have the VIAIR 300P also. It works great and as you showed, doesn’t take that long. The case that comes with it is perfect and it fits behind the seat in my 3rd Gen Tacoma 4 door. I looked at various other options and for the $$$, I think this is a good buy. Cheers.
It's great! Highly recommend. It's far better than the cheap amazon one I have, but I still use both regularly. I have another video comparing them if you haven't seen it.
This will work fine it's just a little slow. But if you aren't off roading or don't need it that often it's a perfectly viable option. Check out this video where I compare it to a 4 tire system: ruclips.net/video/cWhnQJYwH7I/видео.html
on the Viair website it says the hose should not be used at freezing temps. this is a heck of an issue, i was hoping to get one of these to use you know, year round. including winter when it may get below freezing from time to time. do you have any issues? is the hose super brittle or something?
I live in Florida so I can't speak to the freezing temps... lol I'd imagine in freezing temps maybe it's constricted/hard since it's a carbon fiber type hose.
I've been looking at Viair compressors and read that they are an american company that is having these compressors manufactured in china and built according to Viair specs. They are not china garbage. Viair has quality products, just manufactured in china.
I'm sure it's possible but I doubt there's a mounting solution for it on the market, it would probably need to be something custom. Would be interested to see that type setup though.
Great vid!! Viair is a cool company. They gave me a little 88p in a giveaway a few years ago and have used it since
Nice I almost went with the 88P but figured go big or go home lol

Nice! Yeah I need to clear out the space behind the seat for it.
Thanks for watching!
glad you're 'pumped' about that, haha! gold Jerry, gold!

Great in-depth and detailed video, I'm getting closer to buying one for my garage at home. Thanks!!!

so how well does the deflation system work? Should I purchase a separate air down tool like the arb ez deflator or will this work just fine?

how do you use the extra fittings that came with it. no instructions only why i see is to insert in tip then lock lever? is this correct
Not really sure as I only use the pump for my tires. But I'd imagine they either screw in or just lock in like you said.
Is there any feature for auto cut off once it reaches 40 psi?
Not that I'm aware of, but that'd definitely be nice to have lol
What psi do you run your tires?
somewhere between 38 and 40 PSI on the road and 18-20 off road
What is an Acoma?
Are your referring to Toyota Tacoma?
Is yours made in China?
I ordered one from Amazon but it says made in China :(
Not 100% sure but I got mine through Amazon as well so I'd imagine so.

There all made in China and they have plastic gears and pistons. But they work great 👍

Haha you’re on it! 🔥
I was looking at this one as well do you something could be rigged up for an engine bay mount similar to the arb unit?
