This is the first part of my 3 part series on the Tamiya Hornet. In this video I build it. In the next I paint it, and in the 3rd, we go drive it! This is a great kit for a first time builder.
Great build video I’m about to do a Hornet so swotting up before I build her. I did get some upgraded oil shocks which come with a mounting bar and I’m going to use the ampro part to stop the chassis jerk/slap. It worked great on my lunchbox. 👍
Nice. Glad you enjoyed the video. I have the Ampro slap thing on my lunchbox too. Surprisingly, the front pogo sticks seemed to work better than the included rear oil shocks. It’s a pretty light car and bounces around a lot.
@@Triggered-RC Thanks for the info I thought there wasn’t much to the kit/car so she will be light, I’ve put the softest Tamiya oil in them. They seem ok? As there not big shocks there as thin as the pogos and I’m keeping her brushed with a sport tuned motor. I’m building her tomorrow. 🙏🏻👍
