I’m old enough to remember when the Japanese bikes first came to the US market, (Yes, I’m that old 😆), and along with the “Big Four” were a number of lesser brands which didn’t help to cast the Japanese bikes in a good light. Over time the poorer quality bikes faded away and the brands we all know and trust to make a quality bike survived. I’m seeing the same thing repeated with the imports from China. However with the world wide accessibility to information and testing, I’ll go ahead and predict it won’t take as long for the quality Chinese bike to stand out from the others.

CFMOTO 800MT(KTM) explorer is super and the Voge DS900X (BMW)also amazing with a logical price.

I'm pretty sure the clutch will cancel the cruise control. I've tested it myself and it states in the manual that it is one of the ways to disable it. It is an enjoyable and visceral bike to ride. And....it is not ugly!

I own a 700CLX Heritage in Malaysia with about 12000km put on it thus far.
It’s based off the Kawa 650 engine platform and definitely got a decent grunt to it, it’s fun pulling it to 6-8k RPMs, but not the fastest of its class, with a comfortable top speed of about 190kmh speedo reading.
For the cruise control I personally haven’t used it much because I’m a new rider and sudden lurches wasnt too comfortable. But this bike is known for its gear sensor issue (error P0512.9) which disengages the CC or disables it when u have that error tho easily fixable at the dealership.
Fuel efficiency wise not the best 😅, about 5L = 100KM. Had to top up more when touring with your buddies. The stock seat seems abit different from in the video, but I can last an hour max before feeling sore.
I would say it’s their proper modern ‘first gen’ ish bike with the older 650MT, 650NK, 400NK which allowed the 450cc’s and the 800cc’s in its lineup to shine.
Overall, it’s fun to ride, rather nimble zipping (civilly) in and out traffic. I personally like the chunky design, tho a belly pan would complete the look.
The price is the biggest plus point, in Malaysia that price is competing with the 450cc’s in the CFMOTO lineup, as well as some Japanese 250cc models, making this a very appealing option.
The only downside for KL is that the dealership handles so many brands and models that a regular waiting time for an appointment is about 3-4 weeks, even for a small issue as they can only work on 10-15 bikes a day.

There was another reviewer on RUclips that said it looked like a Mini Indian FTR, which I would to a degree agree about, it the first CF Moto bike I'm really considering buying! I also heard that this bike has automatic lane signal cancellation, is this true, does anyone here know if it does have it?
Keep up the good work guys!

Only time will tell. That's the only hurdle for these Chinese motorcycle companies. It's best if we wait too. Unfortunately that will take about at least 5-10 years. We have to see how these Chinese motorcycles hold up in that time. They need to assure people about their support for their products too and be able to actually reach them in the countries where they are sold.
I'm happy about CFMoto getting more popular. They look like they're on the right path to success and escaping the cheap China company stigma. But as I have said only time will tell and we're all paying attention at the very least.

Problems with China bikes is the materials used on the parts do not last. Still in lack of Quality n craftmanship, Many cut corner.

The only people on the planet who keep going on about the past quality of certain Chinese products are Natonians.
That so many are suckers for State propaganda was proven beyond a doubt during the Pandemonium & Sinophobia's been a political fashion for a couple of decades now.
Westen theory used to say crap goods do not sell very well & it increasingly seems that the real issue the West has, is losing competition.
The rest of the World is more than happy with a vast range of Chinese products, and the global evidence for this far outweighs the repetitive Western narrative.
Good luck to all budding entrepreneurs looking to start a major enterprise with a Sinophobic mentality in the 21st century.
