You know whats not neighborly? putting ruts in other peoples fields. Whenever i need a good laugh i watch tom and his father, literally clowns, they are so oblivious as well.
1977 I watched a similar scene unfold, when one of the 3 old red Massie 135's on the farm got stuck in a waterlogged field. A second, then a third massie got stuck trying to rescue them, then the big white Davie Brown from the neighbouring farm. The dairyman saved the day when he led the massive Holstien bull down there in a makeshift harness, dragging some lengths of firewood. He got them jamming the lengths under the back wheels, then hitched the bull to the Davie Brown and led the whole convoy to safety.
That brings to mind an unrelated but neat story. A bunch of us went skiing in the mountains in New Hampshire. The snow outside the cabin was up to our hips! It was minus zero F overnight. We had six cars, and only one of them would start. We had to jump a car, then the next, and the next... the final car wouldn't start, so the garage towed it down to the station to put it inside and warm it up. And sadly, as the garage owner's son backed the car into the garage, he took a garage wall out with the car. 😮😮 That was a crazy weekend. Cold, but fun!
The first in the family to have breaks and lights on your trailer. Tom you are so hard working, we are proud of every major accomplishment you have achieved on the farm, including the breaks and lights. I hope you can slow your pace by the time little Pemberton arrives.
So this proves that the saying ‘when it rains, it pours” is quite accurate. Tom you’re a man with a mission and you know what’s on your list and you get it done. Love your videos and content. Hope your dad is feeling better every day. ❤❤
that is wet hate to think what it is like now after all this rain with that storm great being on Cotswold brash when its wet but not good in summer when we get a dry spell , hope you got them bales out now , looking forward to seeing the maize
Thanks for sharing, good video. Hopefully you get the hay off quickly with no further problems. Pondering if it would of been helpful to the farmer to move all the bails out of the field and stack them on the edges of the field close to the road on firmer ground that is not subject to the concerns of compaction. Also if the weather were to become a limiting factor getting them off the softer soil would facilitate getting them at a later date even if conditions weren’t optimal. Wishing you and your family the best.
Has to say it was a good trip to the farm before coming home. Cost me two large milkshakes in the case of getting my twin girls out the farm shop so I could go home back to chester after a weekend away.
With you on that stuck thing. Hate getting stuck. I'll do just about anything to keep from having to get someone to pull me out. I had a customer ask me this summer if I was happy about the rain (4 1/2 inches in about an hour and half) I told them I can always irrigate, but if it floods there's nothing you can do but watch it wash away. Rain is good, until it's not.
It is horrible, but so much more so if its someone else's ground... you can only do your best, especially with dad out if the picture! Think a large bottle at Chrimbo is called for you have great neighbours!
we have a small john deere loader tractor on massive tyres for just this occasion. Never like working on wet field but somtimes is can't be avoided. try and get some super single on that trailer, duels love to sink. little case taking the job in its stride.
Great video as usual Tom. wise man holding back a couple of days. That's the trouble with arable land very soft even hen dry. Watch for post wife posted a parcel to you today.
Generally it takes about 5 minutes to take a Tanco Fore end loader off . Put a back spike on the tractor to get bails moved on soft ground. Is slow but gets job done .
From what I can see in the weather you are due for more rain that’s not gonna help your fields. I’m so sorry we’re praying for you and I hope your father is better. We love the ginger man.
Is it very warm & humid in Wisconsin? Guessing that's the difference because the last you could accuse Northern England of is warmth. We're at 40 F nights & 50 F days. Already had frost where I am.It's only humid due the amount rain.😂
One fact of life if its raining we stay in doors but a farmer has to work rain or shine their day never ends till bed time❤ what would we do without them❤❤
👍😊👍I figured You were going to need a helicopter to lift those bales out of that field! 😩💦 Hope The Man with the Ginger Moustache if feeling better 🙏🏻❤️
Great Video but it always makes me chuckle how you say good morning at the beginning of every video ......yet release the video mid afternoon (unless its a sunday video).
Well done Tom, its amazing the first attempt the drainage ditches were full and the second attempt they were empty, if the environment agency got their fingers out and done what they should do the land would be dryer
That other farmer can't be upset about not being able to plow cause the bails are stacked there, cause there's no way he could do plowing anyway with an actual pond worth of water sitting there.
I worked for a straw man years ago we baled 25500 big squares in 00 nearly 5000 acres that year. Stick to the tramlines in the soft fields only chance you have
I'm continually impressed with the amount of neighbourly cooperation between farmers in the modern age. It's great to see. 👍🏼

I wish I could have seen that! The bull saves the day!! What a fiasco.

@@jeanmm2996 oh to be young again. Lol. I could likely tell a few too. Life is fun.
Your poor car- the bartering ram.

Nothing you do/video is boring . Loving every moment. Take care,Be safe, ❤️✌️
Tom, Boring equals productivity. At least you were able to get all the bales.
Prayers going out to all those flooded in Scotland.
Maybe we'll get a Sunday video!!!! Glad you solved your problems and are getting the hay out. How is Joanna and when is the baby due???
Super vidéo merci pour le partage Dominique de France 🍀☘️🌳✋💪👌🏼👍
Congratulations on your Award at the Farmers Guardian shindig on Thursday - Well do to all your Team. Great Bale recovery.

Oh and so happy for you to have won a silver award at the British farming awards and in defeat need for that yard brush at Ollys
Congratulations Tom Well deserved

I find those trailers with the dual wheels are really hard pulled the mud goes up between the wheels and gets you stuck easier
yes they are a complete disaster in the wet off road .............!
Thanks for sharing, good video. Hopefully you get the hay off quickly with no further problems. Great video mate, lucky to get the straw off the field. Hope your dad gets well soon Tom have a great week and stay safe
Bad day at the office 😂😂😂😂😂 Thomas
Thanks for sharing
I’m not certain if you were north of Babet. Best wishes to you and your family, relatives friends.

Right, I am just going to say this….. I BLOODY love these videos. Phew. That felt good.

Jeepers Tom the way this weather is going we farmers will be setting "Paddy Fields" and growing rice!! Great video as always!!
It is horrible, but so much more so if its someone else's ground... you can only do your best, especially with dad out if the picture! Think a large bottle at Chrimbo is called for you have great neighbours!
Dont Feal To Bad Tom...We Still Have About 400 Rolls setting n the field ..& Now It is about time to start Picking Corn..
Good work Sam get every opportunity to promote the sport
Good video Tom enjoy your weekend
You need mud tracks, we use it here in Australia when we go out bush with caravans. I know your trailer is heavier but have a look at Mac tracks.
we have a small john deere loader tractor on massive tyres for just this occasion. Never like working on wet field but somtimes is can't be avoided. try and get some super single on that trailer, duels love to sink. little case taking the job in its stride.
At 9:45 the field soaking wet and the ditch bone dry lol
Great video Tom
Great video here Tom 😄
Thanks for the video Tom. ✌️
Glad you got them off before the present deluge
Great video Tom and congratulations to the family for the award 👏👏👍👍
Great video as usual Tom. wise man holding back a couple of days. That's the trouble with arable land very soft even hen dry. Watch for post wife posted a parcel to you today.
I used the excavator and a trailer load of pads to get across a field last year and not tear the hell out of pasture, took time but worked great
Hi tom
8:33 😂
Amazing video as always Tom thanks
That old Case is burning more oil than diesel!! But still plodding on!! Is that the one that had the electrics replaced?
If you get stuck you bring cake to work. It's a rule Luke 😂
Or a bucket of meatballs and a case of beer😂
As we say in dutch, ketting strak is gebak.
It's horrendous here now tom rain since yesterday 40 mile winds
Great job tom and luke
11:24 great content again
Great work Tom and Luke 😊
Tearing Fields up is bad news, as you now it's the agro of getting the machinery out. But you've then got to put it right later.
Best wishes to your Dad.
Generally it takes about 5 minutes to take a Tanco Fore end loader off . Put a back spike on the tractor to get bails moved on soft ground. Is slow but gets job done .
Have a happy cow weekend everybody. Be well be you
That fields a swamp almost. Wow 😮
You wanna keep the tractor and trailer on the tram lines
New trailer looks well nice see you’ve got lights on one now, just need invest in some straps 🙈😂
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Must say I'm getting a bit confused by the recent videos. When was this recorded? I'm guessing 6 to 8 weeks ago?
Get rid of the twin wheels and put super singles on the trailer 😊 it would be a lot eser pulled
And there isn't a lot of soil stuck between the tires and fall of on the road either
No floatations are what's needed. Twins hellish, super singles no much better
That's what l was really thinking of but any thing is better than twins
From what I can see in the weather you are due for more rain that’s not gonna help your fields. I’m so sorry we’re praying for you and I hope your father is better. We love the ginger man.
thats why you make it while the sun shines. you just needed a bit more sun shine, ran short on shine theres a poem in there somewhere.
why didn't you stick to the tramlines to reduce the compaction for the arable farmer?!
Good stuff
U live and u learn like i always say
On your round bale stacker if u take the protective slides of is there not spikes under ?
Evening Tom 😂
Not sure that loader tractor would meet ulez criteria 😂. Great vid Tom much love ❤
I am surprised how the bales look . We have that happen in Wisconsin those bales would be nothing but mold
Is it very warm & humid in Wisconsin? Guessing that's the difference because the last you could accuse Northern England of is warmth. We're at 40 F nights & 50 F days. Already had frost where I am.It's only humid due the amount rain.😂
looks like that bale trailer could take a bale extension.........there doesn.t look to be much length of bed behind the back axle
good thing you kept that tractor, get some diesel hoses.
Think you need a Chinnock helicopter to lift those bale. 😆 😅😅
😊
Ooohh a good snail trail
After this weeks weather your going need either waders or a boat! 🤗
One fact of life if its raining we stay in doors but a farmer has to work rain or shine their day never ends till bed time❤ what would we do without them❤❤
Tom, how do u find the elka bib pants ??
Hi Tom have you got your maze yet
How long was the case with you for coz ut was very short
What was the rush to collect that little bit of straw hope it was your field and not a neighbours
Next time, keep to the tram lines.😅
Do u prefer manure spreading or slurry? If u could lease any tractor for a week what would it be? Fendt 724?
Hi Tom what was the name of the song you used in the video?
👍😊👍I figured You were going to need a helicopter to lift those bales out of that field! 😩💦
Hope The Man with the Ginger Moustache if feeling better 🙏🏻❤️
Sam makim 93 is a great driver in a great sport.
Hadn't been stuck for 10 years then twice in a day drilling barley this year. It's just the conditions we're in this year
Barely had the Case Tractor leave😂😂.. your already having tractor traction issues. I feel 4 u Man. Take ❤
You're the no'1 farmer who can find a wet patch 😅
Hi try reducing the pressure in all your tyres by half ,you will find
Have a bigger foot print
Gibt's in England keine Vorschriften für Ladungssicherung 😅
Boy you got rain!
Bad day when fields get buggered up.
You had a nice big red CASE that has just gone back... Would that have got stuck ? 🧐🧐🧐
Tractor & trailer Should of stayed in the sprayer tramlines👍
Great Video but it always makes me chuckle how you say good morning at the beginning of every video ......yet release the video mid afternoon (unless its a sunday video).

Can Boats pull a Plough?
Probably the next video title...
Sam makin boy can drive Tom you should go and watch top quality action from the Briana f1 stock cars
You need to tidy up dude and fix the gates on your new shed because it’s playing with my OCD.
Mini ginger warrior
That other farmer can't be upset about not being able to plow cause the bails are stacked there, cause there's no way he could do plowing anyway with an actual pond worth of water sitting there.
Cracking video as always
I'm guessing your Pulling the trailer out in 2nd gear so not to spin her in down. Think my butt would be twitching on that wet field.
Why are you not driving on tram lines ….😮
Winter coming tom, the last two days has been not bad here in Cornwall.
And it's gunna rain some more lots more
Yeah, down here its really wet
