Try to hire an engineer or an architect to do the house plans even if late. The way you do it now is more costly in terms of structural design. Since your family has already moved in the house prioritise your roofing, wall covering, flooring, toilet, then windows, ceiling, doors, lights, cabinet works and finish off with painting and landscaping.
