The rug is beautiful but not quite right. It does look a little dingy, as you said. Why settle for something you don't absolutely love? It may, or may not, grow on you but how long will that take, if ever? I know it's frustrating not to find what you're looking for, but when you do find it there'll be no questions about it. The room is too gorgeous to add a slightly off note that will continually draw attention to itself. Think of your search as a hunt for treasure. Enjoy it. Your perfect rug is out there. Good luck! Lastly, if u don't have any, please pickup some furniture sliders from Home Depot or somewhere. They allow u to easily move heavy furniture, protect your back and flooring as well. Your couch has a mauve undertone which clashes with the blue/green in the rug. It's a beauty but I'd order that larger rug it's gorgeous. I've been hunting for the perfect cognac sectional chase and rug to no avail. You've done a beautiful job. God bless

I like to rug I think it's beautiful it has a nice Sheen to it almost like a silver shining through that's what I noticed it definitely is workable you have a great talent for decor so I think you could make it work

I absolutely love your rug maybe you could get pillows with that same silvery blue in it and little accents to match if it bothers you that much, but unless you tell someone, nobody is even going to notice. I think it’s stunning and it complements your other furniture and I also think you’re way too hard on yourself, you’re not too picky and you have exquisite taste. I would keep the rug. enjoy it!

That's the same rug I bought for my livingroom 8×10 I personally love it. I get so many compliments about it. But I think it's how your livingroom is set up. The size of it. I know what your talking about depending on how the light hits it. It'll look super lighter or a dirty shade

Hi Simona! We have NO Ross stores where we live🤨🙄😣. Any-whoooo, if u don't have peace about the rug after living with it a couple of days and it's just not bringing what u want it to, take it back. Not saying it's easy but you and hubby are the ones looking at it everyday. I looked for a rug, online, some years ago to go with gray and ivory decor. The ivory was in the rug I ordered but the gray was more like smoke not gray at all. I kept it, it's very nice, but if I would have been instore I would have passed on it. U know what u really like and what u don't. Gods continued blessings

Because you have a beige/ cream sofa, the rug doesn’t go well. If you had a white sofa it would be perfect. It’s clashing. However you have to be happy so we support whatever you decide ☺️☺️

Omg. I Bought this same rug at Homesense in Canada.The rug is beautiful and i loved it in the store. I couldn’t pass the opportunity and i bought it. I brought it home, placed it on the floor, it was evening, loved it. Next morning, the sunlight was making the grey color appear mint green and it was killing me. While the rug is beautiful, i had to return it cause i knew the grey green tone was going to drive me nuts. Now I’m still hunting for a white rug but no luck so far🙁

Pretty rug but if you are not certain you might want to bring in a pillow from the sofa to see if the rug looks good. Much easier than lugging carpet around. It's a very pretty rug though
You can go to a Big Box store or a Carpet store and find a rug you like and they will have it cut to your measurements then, (I forgot what its called) I think it may be called "binding the edges" I had that done at Lowe's for the rug I wanted.for my LR.
