It’s amazing how some folk get so defensive when the talk of slavery is mentioned as if it’s a subject that’s off limits! If people want to educate themselves and share the knowledge and their feelings so be it. It’s okay to be empathetic and go with how they feel on a subject that touches them.

The first people to iniciate the transatlantic trade of slaves was the Arabes in 1300. Again it was possible cause it was facilitated... The first European to reach the African continent was the Portuguese. Before they reach Cape Town (Cabo da boa Esperanca) 1486 they entered the now called Congo river. They were offered the people of the defeated tribe to them.... So, please pay a visit to the Portuguese moseum of history in Lisbon and you will learn a grate deal of the world history... Again, the Arabes were the first international slave traders of the African peoples. They trade about 12 million people out of the African continent. I'm a "mulung" white male and have been raised in Africa and still living in Africa...
