When she held Hugh’s hand and sung to him and he goes “huh” you know he felt that on a deep level.
This song just stirs something in me every time I listen to it. I would have loved to be in that room just to feel all that energy. I would have been a mess but still would have loved it.
The guy in the red jacket is giving SO much energy. A true hype man.
This wasn't even an actual rehearsal; it was a "sell" to get the show made. Maybe the singers here didn't even have characters in their minds yet - some may not even have ended up in the movie! But when it kicked in for Keala, you could see that moment, and it fed everyone else's energy. I think this was even more magical than the finished performance, and am so grateful it was caught on film so we could share it. Thank you for sharing it., too (I'm crying too; music does that, doesn't it?♥)

I love this song and EVERY time I watch this video it brings me to tears. She is such an amazing singer.
The young lady in the ensemble, with the curly hair in the front row, wearing black and burgundy is Loren Allred- the original singer of Never Enough. She just sang a new version of Never Enough on AGT Fantasy League in January. Quite a story on her.
Rick the kids and adults that sang this were on Britain's got talent. The girl that started the group has a brother that was born with cerebral palsy I think and they said he'd never communicate and she wouldn't accept it. So she taught him language so he could communicate and now he walks with a walker٫ talks a little and signs. His name is Christian and he was 4 when they auditioned but I forget when they auditioned. The whole group is amazing and they got the golden buzzer.
This one gets me every time!! The energy in that room must have been so powerful!! The 2nd part to this, is "From Now On." Hugh had just had a cancer removed from his nose & wasnt supposed to sing. So he doesn't....at first lol. Then that energy took over again & the whole room erupts, Keala as well lol. Definitely check that one out.
I love this song! As I said before they play this at Pride every year. I always wear a shirt that says free mom hugs for those who's parents don't accept them. I love this song so much and it brings a tear to my eyes!

I dont think you have reacted to Cynthia Erivo yet. In this video, she is the gorgeous woman with short yellow hair belting her azz off. She's not tall, so she's standing on a box.
If you are interested in checking out any of her performances, I highly recommend "I am here" the definitive version, she has white braids and Oprah is losing it in the audience. Cynthia also performed 'Stand Up" from the movie she headlined, "Harriet" on the 2020 Oscar Awards.
You won't be disappointed. She's amazing.
