Oh, when the game ended with Max walking under the sun, I stood up from my chair and clapped my hands: I felt so happy for Max recovering from his emotional catastrophe.
This game did not get the recognition it deserved. the way it made you feel what Max was feeling with the soundtrack and distortion in the screen. the narrative, plot and shooting. It will remain one of the most underrated games of the previous generation consoles. oh, the soundtrack was kick-ass too, especially the sequence with this song.
Totally agree! I personally preferred this game over GTA5. I know it's not the same type of game. But it's a Rockstar game. The story, the characters, the music... were so good in this game. I always love to play it once in a while because it has an amazing feeling. You know, it's kinda feeling that gets you to play back a game so much. I personally didn't have this feeling with GTA5, even though it has a lot of content... But yeah, I hope they make another Max Payne game. This series is just so awesome!
***** They can't. They would have to go too far. He is already like 50 years old in MP3 so imagine MP4, he would be a grandpa. All they should've done with 3 is to remove some cutscenes. It feels like an interactive action movie. Still a great game, though.
***** I agree with you it was so under rated. The ending was perfect, even matched 2 wich really didn't need a sequel but I appreciate this title. If gta 5 have the type of aiming/ flawless animations of this game, It would be way better. One of the most polished games i've ever played.
It's not underrated. It was a good game. But compared to Max Payne 1 and 2 the writing was not there. The beginning of Max Payne 1 had probably the best written monologues and opening scenes. Rockstar did their best to make a Max Payne game and it came out quite well with the new team but if you compare it to the originals it doesn't stand on the same ground. "They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger. And then it was over."
I have watched this video legitimately over a hundred times over the years. Nothing else like it. The only thing I've ever wanted for is that the shot at 3:24 ran a little longer than it did. That transition from cutscene to gameplay gives me chills and it gets cut short here.
Nice video and such a great game. Rockstar did a very good job, not only they managed to continue Max Payne's story saving it's gloomy atmosphere, but also polished the game in a technical way. Currently there are completely no massive bugs, hang-ons or glitches, the game is a pure joy to play and the work on details is just amazing. I hope they will go on with the series.
Though by style and setting (and certain aspects of the plot) Max Payne 3 is the black sheep of the trilogy, this is one of the most fitting songs I could ever imagine for the series.
I really liked the way the game dealt with the theme of his emotional pain and descent into a living hell (the burning office building part was brilliant in the way it was like a metaphor for him being trapped in hell) and the way he ultimately overcomes the demons of his past
I have to admit that I did not watch the video initially as I had just started playing the game and a lot of the footage would have spoiled things for me. But now that I've beaten the game I think it's really awesome! Great job!
You made this vid without spoiling the game for me. Max Payne wanted to tell me his life story tonight at bowling and that you did not spoil it for me means a lot to me and Max too. Thumbs up if you agree
this game series is a master piece, real people would really appreciate it, i dont even have the words, but kids will always ramble....they'll never know what this game really is...it has a special place in my heart
Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption are rockstars finest moments. Two badass fighters who get wrapped up in violent circumstances they don't fully understand, both trying to erase their past, and their fates are met in the game. Thank you rockstar for being badass
This game took me back, back to a time where you struggled to complete a game. The final shootout, with one painkiller after however many attempts, when i finally did it i got out of my chair and cheered! I clapped as soon as the credits came on the screen, this game was superb. I can't fault the story or the gameplay.
The airport shootout...when this song came on in the background..just too epic. Max Payne 3 has the best soundtrack of any game I've played in the new generation. Hands down.
To me this song represents max's family. They're telling him to put them behind him and move on. But in the last few lines max is saying he'll never let them go, but he'll always remember and love them. Such an amazing story and game.
The best game ever... Really awesome work by rockstar games.. waiting for next Payne .. just love it.. n the theme ...my God... It's just killing.... So...damn brilliant... Hats off.. what a game... Actually...its nt less dn a movie...n hats off to sound department... ,:)
This, Kane is a war veteran and an ex-police officer and con on the run. He took on against the entire LAPD, a Prison full of guards, the Chinese Police, and Army, not to mention he kept his cool the entire time. He is also sliced up beyond belief as well. Lynch is a brutal serial killer who is great with weapons, he is merciless, and leaves no one left standing. He also has experience in fist fighting. Kane has experience with blades, and can quickly kill anyone in his way, silently, or loudly
This just may be one of the greatest and most hauntingly beautiful songs I have ever heard. So awesome and appropriate for Max Payne - this game is probably the most incredible game I have ever played too.
Never forget what this man has been through. All the lives he's taken. All the men he has killed and all the women he has seen killed have made him able to save only a couple people...
That entire part of the mission in the terminal is even better if you run through it in slo-mo shooting the bad guys whilst this song is playing. The ending is probably one of the best endings to a game I've ever played. It leaves it open for more but it's also a perfect end to a perfect trilogy.
Agree the pacing was real well, and the balance between realism with characters to fictional action felt pitch perfect. I always felt like a John McClane when playing as Max.
I seriously demand a re-release of the entire Max Payne trilogy for PS5. Keep the PS2 graphics and 3. My son will be a native New Yorker like myself, and it is blasphemy for him to not know who Max Payne is.
Game of my life. Just finished playing all 3 max payne games three times in a row. And this song just sums it all up. Fucking amazing game. Reckon I'll have to get a tattoo now
This game is a modern classic. Such a great script filled with memorable quotes and moments, intense and great gameplay (I will never get tired of bullet time...never) Oh and I almost forgot it has the best graphics I have ever seen in a videogame on the PC with everything at max is just stunning. Thank you Rockstar
I know its been quoted before but... "You'll walk...WITH A LIMP!" "I wouldn't know right from wrong if one of em was feedin' the poor and the other was banging my sister"
Right when Max hid behind the luggage and I saw the whole terminal, I knew this was going to be THE most epic (I never use 'epic' but there is no other way to describe it) part of the game. I had to take a piss before in order to prepare. When I came back, I wasn't disappointed at all. This part capped off an amazing game. I am going to find all the clues, guns and pass all the score attacks to get unlimited everything so that I can go back and play this part a million times over, in perfection.
Max Payne, the game that shows that games can be art.
Even if it's an action game
Oh, when the game ended with Max walking under the sun, I stood up from my chair and clapped my hands: I felt so happy for Max recovering from his emotional catastrophe.

Mihajlo Bencun Well that's what I personally liked about Max Payne 3...

This song at airport final mission is just... FUCKING EPIC
Max Payne 3 Best game ever.
Does no one else recognize this game for the masterpiece and work of art it is?
The song written from the perspective of his dead wife and child is clever as it is deep. A true masterpiece how the airport scene was produced.
Don't forget Mona, some of her is in there as well
@@danielgeronimo5538 woaa yes Mona Sax!
Really underrated game.
solidsnake58 I
Max Payne 1: Mourning
Max Payne 2: Accepting grief
Max Payne 3: Moving on from pain
Well done, Max. Enjoy your vacation.
I have watched this video legitimately over a hundred times over the years. Nothing else like it. The only thing I've ever wanted for is that the shot at 3:24 ran a little longer than it did. That transition from cutscene to gameplay gives me chills and it gets cut short here.
there is no words to describe this game... one the of the best game i ever played.. full of epic scenes
this was to me more than a game. a movie i always like to watch again.
Thank you Rockstsr for keeping this series alive. What an awesome farewell to one of gamings most badass tragic characters
ikr they dont realise games too often but when they do boom game of the year
Rockstar really killed it with their music choices, Tears for that airport scene and Far Away for that Mexico scene in RDR. Classic.
Max Payne is worlds biggest badass.
Yea and John Wick.
and punisher
Kratos
The way this song start playing on the airport is just amazing, it fit perfectly on that moment...
Best anti-hero ever?
phazoneatermetroid77 yes!
Though by style and setting (and certain aspects of the plot) Max Payne 3 is the black sheep of the trilogy, this is one of the most fitting songs I could ever imagine for the series.
This right here? This is the video that made me fall in love with HEALTH. Thank you.
No matter how bad Max's life gets, he refuses to stay down and let the people who wrong him.
Lyrics sure make sense, how Max shows his love and trust to Brazil and all
"you know I'll walk!" "yeah you'll walk... With a limp!!" *crack*
I really liked the way the game dealt with the theme of his emotional pain and descent into a living hell (the burning office building part was brilliant in the way it was like a metaphor for him being trapped in hell) and the way he ultimately overcomes the demons of his past
Dude ignore them, this vid you made is fucking awesome. Very well-made, and synchronizes with the music perfect man.
I wish this was the main menu theme.
But you have to admit when it comes on in the airport... oooo man was that not epic as fuck?
Yeah it was fucking epic
When this song played on the final mission....Instant Chills, soo epic!
Just beat the game this morning.
Best shooter I've played in years.
I have to admit that I did not watch the video initially as I had just started playing the game and a lot of the footage would have spoiled things for me. But now that I've beaten the game I think it's really awesome! Great job!
The song goes hand in hand with the video here. Awesome job!
Awesom job with this video, thanx. Just finished the game and I'm still thrilled.
Im at the end of the game right now and this song is playing, i just HAD to know what it was called. Thanks for the post!
"Trust us now it's time to let me go."
Max Payne 3 was the best game I've ever played tbh
This could easily be the official videoclip for this great song
You made this vid without spoiling the game for me. Max Payne wanted to tell me his life story tonight at bowling and that you did not spoil it for me means a lot to me and Max too. Thumbs up if you agree
finally a top quality version! thanks for the upload 120Vanquish120 :)
I downloaded this this morning from iTunes for 79p. If you like the song buy it. It's great music, so support them. It's only 79p.
Awesome job! This song surprised the hell while playing... I messed around with my turtle beaches convinced they were possessed.. thanks for the video
If you did the editing on this, excellent job. Synched it perfectly to the song.
So.Much.BASS!
this game series is a master piece, real people would really appreciate it, i dont even have the words, but kids will always ramble....they'll never know what this game really is...it has a special place in my heart
this one has way more bass than all the other ones, thanks!
Airport scene and the ending credits is when I heard this song. Awesome song. Good job by the way
Absolutely great video cut, and amazing song from an amazing game. The Max Payne series is by far one of my favorite stories.
A mazing job dude. Your a great editor and you found the perfect game to do so.
Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption are rockstars finest moments. Two badass fighters who get wrapped up in violent circumstances they don't fully understand, both trying to erase their past, and their fates are met in the game. Thank you rockstar for being badass

The airport shootout...when this song came on in the background..just too epic.
Max Payne 3 has the best soundtrack of any game I've played in the new generation. Hands down.
Maximum Pain!! Memories.. Goosebumps
Bruh I used to call it maximum pain because I kept forgetting the name
Alone against an airport full of soldiers...the only thing you got is 2 weapons and this song. God I loved and enjoyed that moment so much.
So good it hurts. Great video :D
A smoke marathon to those who were Best In Peace
I finished this game three times, dude! Even multiplayer is AWESOME!!!
It doesn't get old for me!
Walking through the airport popping the enemy's heads like melons while this song plays was immensely satisfying.
Great video. I think with the last game, Max secured a spot among many gamers' heart worldwide. Very good story indeed.
max payne 3 good times
It's sad to think there never may another Max Payne game because of how that last one ended
+TheNickMeister They could do a prequel. Like before his wife dies.
+Rah Listic they did a comic
where?
Sharil Shahed
Where?
This game is AWESOME! Nice vid!
To me this song represents max's family. They're telling him to put them behind him and move on. But in the last few lines max is saying he'll never let them go, but he'll always remember and love them. Such an amazing story and game.

18 dislikes?! Who in their right mind would dislike an amazing video like this!
The great work! Good for you!
This just may be one of the greatest and most hauntingly beautiful songs I have ever heard. So awesome and appropriate for Max Payne - this game is probably the most incredible game I have ever played too.
The last level was so badass. This song got you so amped when you were in the airport with guns blazing. Love it!
Never forget what this man has been through. All the lives he's taken. All the men he has killed and all the women he has seen killed have made him able to save only a couple people...
For me,the most impressing scene of this game was the part that max almost fell of the chopper but he holded it.
It gave me shivers when this song kicked in towards the end
this vid looks more like a MP3 TRAILER!!! AWESOME!!!
I always felt like a John McClane when playing as Max.
yeah man , when this song started , it started louder than all of the other songs , and i was feeling so op in that moment haha
niko doesn't have bullet time doesn't matter how good he is and marston and max will both drop each other simultaneously
Now I am become death, destroyer of worlds.
I think it was perfect. Like watching an awesome movie and being the badass yourself. I loved it!
When this song came on... "my illusion of disguise lasted about two seconds..."
These are the real games right here. Ones with good action and a plot. CoD fans are missing it.
THAT'S THE ENTIRE VIDEO. OH MY GOD. YES.
Just merely being within earshot of that conversation would still drive them both mad out of tedium.
the reason i got this game waiting for that mission with this playing in the backround
When i heard this song in Max Payne 3 on the airport i downloaded this tune 1 minute later and got it as my ring tone on phone.
when the music began at the airport.. that's amazing
Max Payne, he's the most badass character ever and is far more violent than the other guys
I shouldn't have even been surprised at how great this game was. Rockstar is just awesome.
Thanks man awesome song
I seriously demand a re-release of the entire Max Payne trilogy for PS5. Keep the PS2 graphics and 3. My son will be a native New Yorker like myself, and it is blasphemy for him to not know who Max Payne is.
i've just finished the game. It was magnificent! And at the last chapter, when this musical masterpiece started playin... awesome
Well, they sounded similar in places to me. I wasn't looking for an argument either thankyou very much!
song fits so perfect into where it's placed in the campaign.
i listened to this 7 times in a row, its just so good. time to watch it an 8
Game of my life. Just finished playing all 3 max payne games three times in a row. And this song just sums it all up. Fucking amazing game. Reckon I'll have to get a tattoo now

Such an excellent game.
I know its been quoted before but...
"You'll walk...WITH A LIMP!"
"I wouldn't know right from wrong if one of em was feedin' the poor and the other was banging my sister"
Good for feeling just like Max during that epic shootout scene in the Terminal. Best. Shooter Scene. Ever.
I find it awesome that this song was made specifically for the game.
there are not many games that caught me like this!
Badass ending for a badass character! Payne finally has his vacation! Just finished the 3rd playthrough. The narrative is as compelling as ever!
Right when Max hid behind the luggage and I saw the whole terminal, I knew this was going to be THE most epic (I never use 'epic' but there is no other way to describe it) part of the game. Great editing, great video
