Some people interpret the Bible in a way that treats others unjustly, though, but we should carefully examine what Christ had taught and not mistaken it for the doctrines of men. No one should generalize anointing as a scam. From the Biblical injunctions, anointing is symbolic and can be received even by laying of hands. Should what we learn of Christ through study or experience betray what Scripture actually says about Him? While correct teaching begets correct believing, what happens when there is no correct teaching? (EXO. 28:41; 1SAM. 16:3; 2TIM 2:15; JMS. 5:14). May the LORD grant us more insight into HIS words and grace to do it appropriately in Jesus name. Amen!
Only GOD anoints. But he can instruct his Prophet to do for a special purpose. Anointing is not a mere oil but a spiritual impartation of God's power on an individual. Men of God are now taking powers into their hands to arrange anointing services. Which is outside pure biblical practice.

The scripture is designed to direct us in our obligation, not to fill our heads with speculations or to please our imaginations. That's why issues need to be attended to, not sagacity. Whatsoever we might do in GOD's service must be done in HIS direction and not otherwise. The scriptures were written, not to describe to us the works of nature, a general view of which is sufficient to lead us to the knowledge and service of the Creator, but to accustom us with the methods of grace, and those things which are purely matters of divine revelation.
