In case you were wondering, that scale is called Phrygian dominant.
When you play E-centric then it’s Phrygian dominant, but if you play A-centric then it’s A harmonic minor, they are relative keys meaning they share all of the same notes.

@@thewisebread3653 They're very similar; actually they're the same scale, just oriented around a different tonal centre. Check out Rob Chapman's video on modes as well as Signals Music Studios, it's very helpful.

It simplifys everything in your head if u know theory, tab kinda forces you to memorize patterns but doesn't teach you what it is, just how to play it. I would learn to use both

I love this. My friend and I wrote a song called pasta in high school about our favorite pasta and ravioli. This brings me back, we totally had a primus/ early RHCP feel to it I slap the crap out of the bass. Love your channel man
the fact that you guys did all those cool tracks in a day just blew my mind, and ravioli have a real fun bass part to play! the slap part was actually a little tricky to figure out by ear, but i'm glad I actually went pretty close :D

Burls said himself along the lines of that he would want to improve his skills in making guitars before he would consider selling them or making custom orders.

Honestly didn't expect the ducks to return since a lot of the recent second channel stuff has been song recordings or various projects that don't quite fit on the main channel, but don't really mesh with ducks. I'm glad that this less scripted content has returned, and the newer Rob Scallon fans can experience the second channel in all of it's glory.

That’s a scale I’ve come across before as well. It’s called the Phrygian Dominant scale, it’s a variant of the normal Phrygian. It’s also been called the Jewish scale
