Many people don't realize it, but fried green tomatoes originated in the Northeast. Pimento cheese was invented in New York too, along with Velveeta and Philadelphia Cream Cheese, oddly enough .
Such an easy no fuss way to make Hollandaise! I love that sauce but have been avoiding making it because other methods were too much effort standing over a double boiler wisking in pats of butter one at a time. I'm doing it your way! Thanks Paula!
I miss paula dean being on TV...... People are so in their feelings and quick to cast a stone knowing they too have bones in their closet. Enough already
Audrey Williams I feel the same way. I felt like whatever she said, she shouldn’t have been thrown under the bus for it. IMO everyone deserves a second chance.
When you boil the sap down for maple syrup, they call it sugaring off. We used to howl when we asked where Grandpa was and Mom would say he's out there sugaring off.

I think softened cream cheese mixed with the sour cream would have been better in the middle of the jello mold!😋💖
For anyone interested...instead of using an egg wash for frying...use Mayonnaise. It gives a wonderful tenderness and your flour sticks like crazy.
Thank you so much for posting these episodes! They're just as good today 💗
Queen of the kitchen❤
